Out of season visit. We're given a Italian /German menu, while being a English /Dutch couple. Had a nice pizza Romana, could have done with some garlic. Husband had mixed grill (meat) which was salted, when that could have done without and left to do oneself. Overall okay atmosphere. No chicken dishes what so ever though.

We found this place on our way back to our resort after spending the day touring the island & what a find ! Great food, huge portions all at a fair price.An added bonus for us was the 80's music videos they were playing that night. They also have a display of caps donated by happy customers hanging up around the bar, see if you can find mine from Marco Island & don't forget to take yours Grazie della recensione positiva e del cappellino ...

Went here following the trip advisor reviews. After a long drive up windy mountain roads were surprised to see such a huge restaurant. Had a nice dinner: pasta, pizza and some boar meat. And for desert a nice Tiramisu. We were surprised to have a German speaking host: apparently he worked in Germany nearly 40 years ago. He recommended half the dishes we had and all of his recommdations were a hit. On too of all the restaurant has a great view.Thank you for the kind words, glad you have satisfied your needs, we hope to meet again and we wish you happy holidays.

A friend recommended this place and we had fabulous dinner and lunch there. The seafood pizza is the best I've ever eaten and other dishes like pasta or fishes are delicious. The relationship quality & food is good!

We stopped for a quick bite for lunch, but the food was so delicious we ended up having a three-course meal. The food was excellent (we highly recommend the gnocchetti alla sarda, the local ravioli with butter and sage and the sebadas). The waiter was extremely friendly and welcoming, and he even offered us a glass of a delicious, very aromatic mirto.Definitely a place worth visiting if you are in the area!

This is a simple pizzeria/restaurant, typical format in these small villages in central Sardinia. The food is good, the service is efficient and the prices are honest. Good local wine (be careful it's very strong and when it is served cold you find yourself drinking as much as it was water). Good antipasto di terra (local cold cuts) and a salad that does't resemble plastic, as it is so common today. They serve pork and beef steaks but the best dish for me was colurgiones, local potato-based ravioli with fresh tomato sauce and mint. Nothing special about the place but nice authentic old Sardinian atmosphere.

Siamo entrati n questa "pizzicheria" sotto consiglio di amici...e ne siamo rimasti molto contenti. Buonissime le pizzette al taglio, ottimi i culurgiones di patate e sa coccoi prena... Peccato che non aveva altro da assaggiare perchè meritava davvero.

Il a fallu un petit moment pour qu'on m'installe à une table, mais celle-ci s'est vite révélée exposée aux courants d'air générés par les entrées et les sorties des clients. J'ai donc demandé à changer de place, ce qui n'a pas posé de problème. Les temps d'attente m'ont semblé un peu longs en regard de la clientèle clairsemée. J'ai opté pour un "pane frattau" suivi d'une grillade mixte de poissons (qui consiste en une petite dorade, des poulpes et des gambas), avec des légumes grillés en accompagnement. Rien de mauvais, mais rien d'exceptionnel non plus. La déco est un peu datée, le service impersonnel, l'ambiance un peu fraîche, tout cela n'aide pas à passer un bon moment à table, surtout seul. Avec l'eau, le vin blanc de la maison et le café, j'en ai eu pour 28 â¬, une note légèrement plus élevée que la moyenne, mais cela reste encore honnête. Par contre, je me demande d'où vient l'horrible pain de type industriel mis à table. J'ai du mal à comprendre, dans une région où l'on fait généralement du si bon pain.

Really great pizza, which is lucky because it's the only restaurant in this weird ghost town. Ate here three nights in a row. Grazie mille della recensione e di averci scelto. Ulassai è un piccolo paese, tipico della Sardegna! :) Speriamo in ogni caso di rivederla presto!
