It is 30 kilometres (19 mi) from Ragusa, 50 kilometres (31 mi) from Syracuse, and 90 kilometres (56 mi) away from La Valletta, on the coast of Malta. The first mention in a document of Ispica occurred in 1093, in a list of churches and ecclesiastic departments for administrative purposes, but the territory has been colonized since the Bronze Age.

Stabilimento balneare in stile "Robinson Crusoe", comunque ben attrezzato con amache e lettoni dove rilassarsi anche in pieno agosto dove altrove esonda una bolgia caotica. Decisamente inadeguati gli ombrelloni piccoli e che prendono il volo appena la brezza marina rinforza. La spiaggia, quasi deserta e selvaggia é assai vasta, peccato per il mare di sicuro non il migliore della Sicilia.

Inizio questa recensione all'incontrario, dalle cose positive: pochissime in realtà ; il menù, vario e adatto a tutti e la qualità degli ingredienti usati, molto alta.Le pizze fanno davvero pena, per un locale che si chiama il Tempio della PIZZA. Chiamatevi solo il tempio, fidatevi, perché sulla pizza c'è davvero tanto da ridire. Per il servizio, onore solo a quello che presumo sia uno dei soci, di bella presenza e molto professionale. Un commis sembrava un cavallo pazzo che andava su e giù per la sala, senza freni, di una disorganizzazione unica; e fatto assolutamente non trascurabile: puzzava come una stalla. Eliminatelo, perché porta solo scompiglio.Magari in futuro ritornerò, sperando di trovare camerieri adeguati... o almeno non quel cameriere.

First, we went there for the reviews and hype around their real wood oven pizza. But NONE of them mentioned that they don't serve pizza at lunchtime!! Really disappointed, with over half the menu offering frozen food. The worst risotto ever.Cara Sonia C.. Visited here with Irish and Italian family and everything was perfect . Had 4 different pizzas followed by a Nutella pizza (yes Nutella) and each one was delicious!! You have to try the shrimp pizza-amazing!! Staff are very friendly and made sure we all had abreast night. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the region.

Good value, excellent quality pizza in unpretentious surroundings. Friendly service. No wine on the menu, but they produced an acceptable bottle when we asked for one.

Good pizza but "fried fish" starter had only 2 pieces of fish fritters and was all frozen. Price was affordable, and having been there early we didn't have to suffer too many screaming children.
