HOME PLATE GRILL is a fun family-oriented grill-type restaurant owned and operated by long time Goleta locals. We offer delicious, high quality economical food for your dine-in or take-out pleasure. We are not a fast food restaurant, instead we present ho
Just opened and seems to be running smooth with friendly staff and good food...made to order pizzas, sandwiches and burgers, appetizers. We had a tri-tip philly sandwich and a burger, both were very good. Saw some pizzas that were at other tables, and they looked great, thick crust, losts of toppings. Good for quick, casual food, good open space for families. Close to the big box store areas, but away from the crowds for quck bites.
OPPI'Z is a modern, nonconventional Italian bistro and pizzeria concept, still rooted into the tradition of the Italian cuisine and to the "Slow-food" manifesto, but absolutely far away from any stereotyped model offered by most of the Italian-sounding re
Four of us went for Sunday pizza at approx 7 pm. Not busy, so we were seated immediately at the edge of the restaurant watching over the pedestrians on State St. There was a lower patio level that was also available for patrons and some inside seating. The wine list was quite pricey but there were a few modest choices and the Primitivo we chose at $42 was very good value. I did say it was not busy; sad, therefore, that when our friends were served their black pastry pizza, the waiter looked surprised when he asked âis there anything else I can get you?â and I suggested he bring our dish out. âOh, yes, of course..it will be out in a minuteâ. It was out in 20 minutes and our friends had finished their dish. I requested water three times per refill. Itâs a new establishment and wait staff are hard to find but management needs to pay attention to service. The test - will I go there again? Only if youâre paying.

Kind of a messy place and definitely average at best. I would order their pizza again if I wanted a late-night delivery. Probably wouldn't dine-in again. Price was right.
My wife and I and friends went for dinner here recently. What a great place! Just a little over 8 bucks for an 11.5 inch pizza loaded with toppings of your choice and to the depth you desire! Loved the thin crust, too. The only downside was that the restaurant is a bit noisy. All pizzas are the same price and 11.5 inches. You go through a line where they first ask what type of crust you want, then the sauce (three choices), then the cheese, then the meat(s), then the toppings. Because the crust is thin, the pizzas cook quickly. And, they are very tasty! We loved our visit to Pieology and look forward to our next time in town when we can go back.

If you know "back east" pizza... Crispy thin crust hand tossed pizza like they serve in the New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia corridor, you know that it is hardly ever found in the Central Coast of California. Well, Saints be praised, the wait is over! Pizza My Heart, a small Bay Area chain has finally brought pizza excellence to the Central Coast! The mark of great pizza is when even the plain cheese tastes great, and that's true here. But there are also plenty of specialty pizzas for both vegetarians and meat eaters. No alcohol is served...at least not yet, but there is an amazing high tech soda machine.Service is friendly and efficient, and when I visited every thing was sparkling clean.

Established in 1982. It was 1977 when Chuck Woodstock opened the first Woodstock's Pizza near Oregon State in Corvallis, Oregon. His goal was to create a fun, studentoriented pizzeria that dished up amazing pies using his grandmother's marinara recipe. Fr
We got into Santa Barbara kind of late so pizza seemed like a good choice for dinner. Woodstock was kind of far from our hotel but once we made the decision to go we could not change our minds. At first we were going to order and bring back but you have to wait for the pizza anyway so we had two beers and each had a personal pan Farmers Market pizza. We chose whole wheat crust. The crust is yummy and NOT thin. But it is oh so good. Our pizza was good and though we may have been the oldest people in there ( very neat the USCB at Santa Barbara campus) nobody gave us a second thought. The perfect food to eat at 8 pm!Thanks for all the love Edie, we appreciate the wonderful review!
