Aside from this Pizza Hut being located in a basically abandoned building, it was always a good place to take the grandkids for a quick pizza when shopping in the Honesdale area near the Kmart & Walmart. Even though the building itself looks dingy upon entry, we have always found this Pizza Hut to be up to date & clean. We like the fact that the decor includes a lot of memorabilia from the area & local high school. The first thing we would order when with the grandkids was a family sized order of breadstick to keep them quiet while waiting for our pizza. With the new menu, you now get a 5 piece order of breadsticks for $4.49. Gone from the menu is the 10 piece, so if you need 10 breadsticks, you'll be paying $9 for breadsticks alone. When we meet family here, we are a party of 6, so 2 pan pizzas are perfect. With the new menu there are so many different combinations, it was a bit overwhelming. We always get a plain pizza for the kids & one with toppings for the adults. The pizza special going on was 2 medium pies for $6.99 & your choice of 4 toppings between the 2 pies. Well most of the toppings you could choose from were in the meat family. It was so hard coming up with 4 toppings that would taste good together, that we opted for a plain pizza with extra cheese & 3 toppings on the 2nd pizza. BUT when the waitress took our order, she said extra cheese wasn't included & would be an additional charge, so we scrapped that & ended up with 3 toppings on the pizza the adults would eat. They definitely needed more veggies to choose from. In addition to the big menu change, so did the taste. This Pizza Hut consistently had great tasting pizza & breadsticks. Maybe it was an off night, but the good taste just wasn't there. As far as service & the speed of getting our food, there were no issues. We'll give it one more try & hope for the best, considering we've been coming here for many years & would hate to cross it off our list of places to eat with the grandkids.
I had a craving for the kind of pizza which is doughy and delicious, I sometimes want the pepperoni lunch special from here and I am never disappointed. It is fast food and convenient. Something of a treat every once and while. Thankful for a good lunch when out shopping. Pizza, Pizza!

We stopped in for a light lunch, because Loose Leaf Pages was closed that afternoon. I ordered a bowl of Manhattan Clam Chowder, even though I am usually more a New England Clam Chowder fan. This soup was excellent, filled with clams, vegetables and potatoes in a great tomato-based broth. We were waited on promptly and given excellent service. We enjoyed chatting with a couple that had been to Alaska recently and told us about their trip. It was just the break in the day we needed.

We visited the area because of the Dorflinger Glass Factory/Museim and, thanks to other T/A reviewer's comments, we had dinner here 9/23/2019. Also a BYOB ($1 corkage charge) that's always a plus.Obviously locally popular. We were early, but those who came in after us were locals and Gretchen and Alison seemed to know just about everyone. Very varied menu, mainly Italian dishes. Of course pizza. But the menu went from hamburgers to pastas, to parmigiana, to....... In addition, there are "blackboard" specials. Mrs. D had the Triple Trio off the menu ($15.95). This was a baked dish of chicken, shrimp, and eggplant with tomatoe sauce. She hasn't stopped raving about it! I opted for the special: Ritzy Haddock ($16.95) and a side of spaghetti. This was Haddock with a crust of crushed Ritz Crakers and was delicious. Dinners were served with a salad and, according to Alison, they have just about any salad dressing you can think of. AND, dinner comes with a small loaf of one of the best hard-crust/soft interior breads I've had in years. The loaf was hot and served with real butter. We learned that Gretchen makes this bread every day! Wonderful.Though very tempting, we couldn't fit-in dessert. We guess that they listed 10 pies/cakes available that night.Gretchen and Alison were great. Made us feel that we, too, belonged.

Worse pizza ever. Mushrooms were OLD and I am ready to throw up. Hardly no sauce, overload of cheese, and just some gritty baked dough. Dumpy establishment and nasty bathrooms. Nothing like smelling sewer in the back while looking up at stained ceiling tiles, thinking of eating pizza. Dump.

We ate here after finishing a train ride on The Stourbridge Line.We were told that the food was very good. . . . it was average.I ordered the roast beef meal. . . . I did not realize that I needed to ask if the meat was rare or not. . . it came out completely cooked through -- which I don't really care for. It tasted ok but it was not what I expected. My husband ordered the pepper steak and specifically asked for it to be medium rare. . . it came out pretty well done. . . .again, not terrible but not what he had asked for or expected. Our server was very personable and friendly which was a plus; unfortunately, we will not be eating here again and we can't recommend it unless you are so hungry you don't care what you eat.Other dishes might be good. . . .but we were not impressed. And seeing how many names this place goes by I am not sure if there has been a large turnover of owners or if there is another issue.

When I have eaten at other pizza places the toppings are lacking. I most recently ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza and was elated at the quantity of toppings. A two topping pizza at other shops has half the pepperoni and half the sausage of a single topping pizza. NOT HERE! The pizza was loaded with a full amount of toppings. I got what I paid for and was very happy. All menu items are great. My wife and I frequent Elegante's for great food, friendly staff and a clean environment.

Loved this place as soon as we walked in. There was a fun vibe, super nice employees and they brought us popcorn in duck fat. Sounds yucky but tastes great! There were happy to bring me a couple of samples and unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the one the I really liked. Our friends had the french fries in duck fat which were fabulous and we had the pizza with squash and zucchini on it which was also delicious, even the crust was wonderful! This was a great place located in a cute town!
