First of all, this is a bit off the beaten track and even on that track it could be hard to find. You will need a car and a map/gps. Locate the old military area Helgelandsmoen. You will pass several random buildings but keep more or less straight. A yellowish building has a couple of enlighten signs on it and the adress Regimentsveien 10 written on it. Locate the door and you are there. The restautant is nicer than it looks from the outside. They have excellent italian style pizzas, some starters and salads, one other main coarse and a couple of desserts. So stick to the pizza. An additional tip- this is probably the only place for miles where you can play snooker. Also a pool table and a childrens playarea in the basement. Combine a visit here with a dip in the "Ringeriksbadet" 100m away.

When finding oneself out in the late sun of Norway, you can miss dinner at most restaurants. Along comes Peppes with a tasty choice of American style choices that reward the late traveler. Pizza, salads, succulent ribs and good service. Families flock to this new found favorite.
