We tried the pizza bufalina (mozzarella and tomato, rather mild) and the hearty pizza with sausage and green cabbage, loked both! Staff is friendly and efficient. Would go again.

My husband and I had been there twice. We both enjoyed the specials, fish. Then a friend visited, so we dined there again. Our friend enjoyed his pizza, my pasta was good, but too much. The owner is friendly, and it is just a nice restaurant for a pizza, nice wine and relaxingSuzanne

Wenn man berücksichtigt, dass die Pizza auch noch einige Zeit im Karton liegt bis man sie auf dem Teller hat, dann ist der Geschmack ein kleines Wunder. Beim Azurra handelt es sich nämlich um einen Pizzadienst. Die Pizzen schmecken dermaÃen lecker, dass ich mir schon öfter gewünscht habe, diese Qualität in einem Restaurant zu bekommen. Ich wäre dort sicher Stammgast. Wir bestellen regelmäÃig Freitags Party-Pizzen im Azurra, wenn wir in unserer Freitags-Tanzstunde was zu feiern haben. Diese Pizza ist einfach unglaublich lecker und ich freue mich schon auf heute abend, weil ich jetzt gleich anschlieÃend schon mal 2 Bleche Party-Pizza bestellen werde, denn ich hatte kürzlich Geburtstag und habe heute die "Spendierhosen" an. Die Lieferung, meist durch den Chef persönlich, ist absolut pünktlich und zuverlässig.

Whilst attending a motor racing weekend at the Hockenheimring five of us went out for dinner on two consecutive nights. On Thursday night we got in without too much difficulty at 7.30 pm but on the Friday we started at 7 pm, notwithstanding the earlier start, the place was absolutely packed and it took 3 hours plus before we were served and finished our meal. We could not even get a reservation for the Saturday night!The Italian food is really rather good, without being fabulous, but the portions are vast. I would caution against having a starter if you are a fan of desserts. I had a small anti pasto to start and a smaller sized pizza on the first night and certainly could not finish it. On the second night the spaghetti bolognese was really very good and a reasonable sized portion to boot.This spot is extremely popular with the motor racing teams and fans alike. Pre booking Friday-Saturday is absolutely essential (and usually at least 24 hours in advance).It is such a shame that on very busy weekends the staff just cannot cope within a reasonable time frame. Nevertheless, I recommend that it be tried. Other options in Hockenheim are not exactly plentiful.
