It's always a good time going out to eat Pizza and Grimaldi's is no exception. The atmosphere is open, appealing to the eye and not so noisy that you can hear your neighbor loud and clear. The pizza comes Hot, crunchy and delicious. I like a pizza where the cheese slaps you on the chin, this is not one of them. The salads are really good and the beer pretty cold. Located in La Cantara mall Grimaldi's is a local hit and is popular with the locals.

Went here to celebrate with a 5 yr. old. so luckily he was thrilled with the place and had a great time. But even though I wasn't expecting much in the way of food quality as this is mostly about the entertainment I guess, I did expect a bit better service which I didn't get. There is plenty of parking and the place accommodating the people that were there without being too crowded. But if the place were full I believe it would be much more chaotic especially if all the party tables would be full not sure where all the kids would play. Guess they'd have to wait in line. The cashier was not friendly at all and seemed bored or disgusted. A couple of times she wasn't even at the register to help. One time I stood there for a good five minutes with 3 employees looking my way but no one waiting on me. All of our party ordered the buffet except one who ordered a chicken caesar wrap. Be prepared to WAIT and WAIT...... I went up twice to check on it and was told they were working on it. After 25 min. I inquired again and the cashier told me it was almost ready. When I mentioned the length of time she acted put out and told me that the pizzas had to be prepared first before the chicken in the oven. After thirty minutes it finally arrived. Needless to say the rest of the party had mostly finished their buffet servings and were off with the games. The wrap was quite large and was okay with mediocre little potato tots. As for the buffet, the salad portion is minimal with not appetizing lettuce and that is it with dressing and croutons. They had a choice of 4 pizzas (cheese, pepperoni, veggie type and a spaghetti meatball pizza) Then there was a cinnamon dessert. The pizzas were very thin and not particularly grand but again this place is about the kiddos. But for $5.99 buffet I guess you can't expect much. The drinks are not included with the buffet and are small cups. There did appear to be staff working the floor for some game maintenance but that was it. The cashier did orders and ticket redemption so maybe could use a couple of more people to help her and she might be more pleasant:) There were 2 or 3 games we noticed that were not in working order but they did have a large variety to entertain different age levels. But again, I'm giving an adult prospective but ask the 5 yr. old and he thought it was awesome and had a great time. After all that is really all that mattered:)

Our friends love this pizza place but we were under impressed. The crust was not a true New York style but was very chewy, undercooked and doughy. We ordered a very expensive ($10+) antipasto salad. It was swimming in olive oil. We brought it home and even with the additions of more spices, vinegar ect. we couldn't improve the taste. We also ordered an Italian sub. The bread was tasteless, it was swimming in oil and the lunch meat and cheese didn't have much taste. Worst part was the sandwich was $10 too... We were very much under impressed and won't be back.. what topped offour experience was they didn't offer any military discounts.

I was waited on by a gentleman named Mark W (the receipt stated) and I have to applaud this employee for the great service and his professionalism. He should be used as an example for what all customer service establishments should be regarding serving customers. This was my first visit to this restaurant and I have to say excellent, excellent, excellent!

We hadn't had Domino's Pizza for years but decided to try ordering online for store pickup to give them a try. Process went smoothly and the pizza was delicious. The handmade crust is very good and ingredients were fresh. Pizza was ready and hot when we picked it up and still warm when we ate it at home. Definitely will try again and they have coupons and specials if you watch for them.

I enjoy coming here for the lunch buffet and I have never found anything to give a single complaint about! This particular location is always clean and has a great, friendly atmosphere. While we were there the manager, Suzee, came out and was personally checking on tables and making sure every one was having a good experience. You can tell she really cares about her work and the customers. The food here is always fantastic and fresh. The salad bar is always stocked and orderly.

Hadn't been to Rome's Pizza in a year or two. Had a Groupon so stopped recently. They did some serious renovations that partitioned the formerly large eat in restaurant to a pint size, crowded, low service take-out pizza joint. No longer has the same feel. Maybe the rent was too expensive for the large space they were in, but that was the charm. Gone are the great lunch specials, old menu and comfortable eating space. I dont think I'll be returning. Marco's Pizza in nearby Helotes serves up a better Pizza.

Thanks Marcoâs for honoring coupons from Ancira Jeep and Mirelles Elementary!Prices seem higher these days on pizza but Marcoâs is a good pie! Always been satisfied with the quality of food, service and deals! Someoneâs doing a great job maintaining this location! Best pizza in Helotes!
