Our menu was drawn up with special focus on homemade pizza and pasta, which we prepare everyday using fresh natural ingredients. We use prime quality ingredients imported from Italy as well as select Australian products. To ensure genuine Italian taste an
Looking for a new Italian in the city we went here based on Trip Advisor's positive reviews.Good looking room that is deceiving from the outside. Light wood and well spaced tables made it a comfortable space.Ordered Rocket & pear salad, Salmon Caserecce pasta and Salumi pizza. Salad and pizza were excellent and good portions. Quality ingredients on all. The pizza base was just right and stayed crispy in the middle unlike many wood fired pizzas were you end up with a soggy middle. My partner enjoyed the Caserecce but found the portion size a bit small commenting that I would still be hungry had I ordered it. Had a good Valpolicella Ripasso to go with it. $130 for the meal with wine being half of the bill.Service was excellent - prompt, friendly, not pretentious or hovering.Worth noting the pasta prices at Da Guido 365 are less than their location in Lygon street.Open for lunch and dinner but closed from 3-6 in the afternoon.Very much enjoyed this meal and will be back ourselves and with friends.

My wife and walked across the road and went into Paradiso, what a lovely surprise. My wife is very allergic to garlic, violently so. The waitress called the chef over and they were incredible and did everything to ensure we had a great experience. Fabulous, you guys win the gold star in my books - and then the meal was also out of this world - thank you.

Osteria 20 takes its inspiration from the classic Italian kitchen from a historic and nostalgic culinary past. This ultra-modern yet simple dining experience offers an energetic, sophisticated and warm backdrop in which to enjoy this acclaimed cuisine. "W
Had lunch recently - and not knowing anything about Osteria 20 other than it was in our Entertainment book - and were really surprised.A larger restaurant than we expected , but carefully arranged so that noise levels were contained.Costa was amazing - took orders , knew his dishes precisely , had a great sense of humour and was attentive without being intrusive , as were the other staff members. The meals were much better than anticipated , a fact confirmed by the totally empty plates from all of us. Different dishes - steak , lasagna , fish and my favourite slow cooked lamb rigatoniAnd to complement the occasion - live music ( it was a Sunday Afternoon ) and again the volume was pleasant and not overpowering.I'll be back for sure. Highly recommended

Had dinner here solo one evening. Had pleasant waitress, nice view out over street from first floor, with local pale ale and bottle of sparkling water to start. Ordered the kingfish carpaccio which was pretty good, with grapes and a sort of citrusy jam that was slightly too overpowering. Also had the salmon bruschetta with tomatoes, watercress and avocado. All very good. Felt quite comfortable and really enjoyed my meal, so thanks!

Family owned and run providing fine dining Italian cuisine, casual lunches, coffee, take away and private functions
My husband took me out to this restaurant for my birthday. It well and truly supports all the positive reviews it has received thus far. Lovely atmosphere. The food was superb. We started with an antipasto tasting plate which was delicious - all parts of it, we both had fish of the day for mains, which was grilled snapper with small potatoes, beans and broccoli, but also ordered a salad to share. I always think fish is the acid test of a restaurant which Il Duca passed with flying colours. There is a nano second between cooked and tough - this was sublime. It flaked easily from the fork, the flavour not disguised by any sauces - but the fish was flavoursome and delicious. The salad likewise was delicious. We shared the gelato and sorbet - yum! The service was terrific. Water continually topped up, drinks appearing as ordered - every attention to our needs. No delays at all with our food appearing in rapid succession. Happy to recommend, and if weâre over this way again, weâll be back!

Light, bright, simple, casual â this is our approach to both the food, and the space at our Glenferrie Road venue. Floor-to-ceiling windows and alfresco tables allow you to watch the world go by as you sample the finest Italian produce on a pizza, in a pa
Chosen for Mother's Day dinner as my wife enjoys the food.Food quality was high as usual, and there is a good selection.Wine selection was also reasonableDecore is modern and comfortable, and the restaurant was very busy.Service was friendly but meal service was unco-ordinated (perhaps due to the numbers), but there was a 10 minute wait between when the first meal was served and the last of 5. Likewise with drinks. Service staff were friendly and attentive, and we had a good nght,
