A lovely Italian restaurant in this otherwise so sleepy but beautiful town in the south of Denmark. They had both very good pastas, pizzas and cooked Italian food. The veal was tender and tasty. The wine list was good and the head waiter together with his staff did a good job in making you feel special, so good that we in the four days we spent in Haderslev went there twice. Worth a visit!Hello MAD52MAAWe try our best, thank you :-)Love Fratelli.

This is Haderslev's only Italian restaurant, and it's the real McCoy. Family-run, a comprehensive menu with no duds. The town teems with pizza places, but this is the best. The atmosphere is good, the guests are never too rowdy, the staff provide good service. Medium-range prices, but it is also possible to have a meal there even if you are on a budget.

This is one of the only cafés, that's situated in the pedestrian street of Haderslev - most other restaurants are located at "Torvet" - the old market square south of the cathedral. It has outside seating, which makes it great for snacking and peaople-watching.we came for the brunch and were not disappointed. Bountiful, well prepared and tasty!
I saw a sign outside the establishment, "Durum Menu! 60Kr!". I love a good durum, so I went inside. I asked for the Durum menu. The man behind the counter said, without looking up, "No English. Danish!" I repeated, "Durum menu". He turned and called someone from the back. A young lady came to the counter, looking as if she had just been interrupted from something very important. She didn't look me in the face the entire time I was there. I asked whether she spoke English. She said, "Yes". I told her that I wanted to order the durum menu that was advertised on the sign outside. In response, she opened a menu (in Danish) and pointed to it, saying, "We have this". and walked away. When I was able to get her attention again, I asked her whether any of the items on the menu were a durum. She sighed heavily, turned to a colleague, and said something to him in Turkish. He simply nodded and said, "Durum". My wife, who was with me, ordered lasagna. There was a single table in the restaurant with two chairs. We sat down. I asked, "Can we eat here?" The facial expressions I received in response would have been appropriate if I had perhaps asked, "May we move in with you?". The girl responded, "We have no utensils. We are a take-away only." I then asked, "Doesn't the lasagna come with plastic utensils and napkins?" "No." was all she said as she headed toward a back room. No problem. We decided to eat in our hotel room.We received our packets, and paid in Euro (apparently another great inconvenience to them) As we left, there was no "Thank you", or "Enjoy it", or "Goodbye".... Just glum faces chatting to each other. We felt as if our ordering food from them was a great imposition. We felt barely tolerated, let alone welcome. When we got back to our room, and I opened the foil around my "durum", I saw that it was wrapped in thick pizza dough. There was a small amount of meat, smothered in, basically, a green salad in Italian dressing. Haderslev is such a beautiful town, and we had a great time visiting there. This was the only wart on the whole experience. Believe me, I won' make the mistake of bothering the people at Milano Pizzeria again. Incidentally, this is apparently part of a chain of restaurants known as "Just Eat". They should rename Milano to "Just Eat - but don't do it here!"
Where to eat Wine Bar food in Haderslev: The Best Restaurants and Bars
