Ristoro Forma e Gusto Pizza and Restaurant, is located on the ground floor of the building. The Restaurant upstairs, Terrazza Barchetta, has a different Menu, staff, style and does not serve Pizza.
Called in after a long day exploring Bellagio thinking this was Ristorante Terrazza Barchetta which is actually located above this restaurant and accessed via a side door in the alleyway and has the higher rating on TA.Instead we found another same old same old restaurant in Bellagio serving the same old same old dishes and with nothing special catching our eye decided to just have the Calzone and have a cheaper evening meal. Now the Calzone was in all honesty fine but maybe just to much ham which rather took over the taste and desserts of Panna Cotta and Gelato were acceptable. As others have said paying a cover charge and then having to go to the bar to pay the bill did not seem right and was therefore reflected in the tip I left. This restaurant does have an in house wood fired Pizza oven and it was interesting watching the chef make the pizzas but I doubt if we would return.

We were very excited about eating at this restaurant especially after reading all the reviews. However we really do not think it was worth the trip into the hills. Tables are set out on a very uninspiring courtyard it felt like you were eating in someoneâs garden. Service was excellent but the food was average and disappointing. We ordered the cheeseballs anchor gnocchi to start. The cheeseballs were on a bed of salad that was inedible but the cheese balls were good. The good gnocchi was okay but nothing special. Full names we ordered the beef kebab because so many people had said it was good and we also ordered the chicken Milanese. The chicken was dry and so very average. I have had better so many times before it was served with chips. The beef kebab was nothing to write home about in fact we were so disappointed. Deserts were good but not special. I have had better tiramisu in England. We had to get a taxi from the town Iâm very surprised anyone manage to walk up there as it was quite a journey maybe there was a quicker route but we could not see it. It was an expensive meal for what it was and I certainly wouldnât rush to go back. I just feel I shouldnât have read the reviews because perhaps I was expecting something special and this restaurant is not special.

The restaurant with a kitchen personally takes care of "owner" with the products from the Lake Como, seafish and the land offers its guests the best regional dishes as: white fish, perch, misultin, agoni for those who love fish, but also a variety of gril
Very family based. But sit inside, not on street, as in Italy. The still chain smoke. Very nice waiters. Good selection of local food. And local fish. Risotto with pearch very nice. Tagliatelle with walnuts and local mushrooms excellent. Great tasting pizza. Local beer was nice. I though wine was expensive. Even compared to other restaurants in the area. We had desserts. Affogato had cream on it never experienced that before. Chocolate souffle looked amazing. And taste matched the looks. On the whole. Nothing to complain about.

Antico Pozzo Restaurant is located In the heart of Bellagio historic centre, few steps from the lake and landing stage, along the most central and characteristic stairway. Our guests can relax outside in the romantic courtyard without traffic noise or in
Stopped here for lunch one day, was v busy but staff got us a table quickly. They offer a really good deal on menu of the day fish or meat and was delicious! Highly recommend stopping by!

You know the foods going to be good when there is more locals than tourists and we were not disappointed. The service was fantastic and everyone spoke brilliant English and were extremely friendly. Food service is super fast and staff were great with helping with wine selection. I had the lasagna and I hate to say it but it was better than my grandfathers.

Italian style street food. Home made pizza and best quality products.
This restaurant is easy to walk past but is much better than it looks from the road. The food is reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and the view over the town and lake is lovely.

Hot and cold dishes to take away. Own production.
We had the fortune of simply walking by while strolling the streets/hills of Bellagio to find this restaurant, how fortunate for us.We received a warm, friendly greeting and were seated and served by a very nice guy GiGi (pronounced gee gee) and I totally apologize for not spelling his name correctly, my apologies, a very polite guy who spoke great English which we always, always appreciate, thanks. We asked him to pick our meals for us which he gladly did and the choices were great, Parma ham with fresh figs, if you love both of these you must order this dish, large portion for sure! more than enough for one person, we shared.Second dish, pasta with black truffles, seriously??? it just can't get a lot better than this dish, pasta cooked to perfection (al dente, thanks very much!) COVERED in freshly shaved black truffles, we were told they were in season, who were we to argue. And the wine, I love Italy...simply ask for red table wine, usually a liter is good, half-liter if you must...The quality is fantastic and hard to believe it's simple table wine, love Italy!So...plan on going to this place for a lunch, mid-day, you'll love it, we did, and would go back in a second!

This part of Lake Como doesn't seem to be doing exceptionally well economically. We noticed a disproportionate number of seemingly closed businesses. There are hotels in this region, and there are probably worse places to base yourself if you're spending time on Lake Como, though the main hotel just up the street is horrendously expensive. We weren't staying here, however; we were here as part of a one day bus tour of the Lakes area. While two of us went to see the gardens of Villa Carlotta which are just up the road, the other two decided to just take a leisurely lunch by the lakeside. We stumbled across Helvetia rather than searching it out. And we are quite satisfied that we did. I've attached a picture showing the view from our table; it's across the road and onto the lake. It's therefore relaxing enough as long as you aren't on a deadline to meet up with a bus, which unfortunately we were. But nonetheless it's hard to complain about a view like that.Service was friendly and efficient; we were seated quickly and provided with menus, and the orders were taken and fulfilled promptly. Again, you can't really complain about that. One of us had cannelloni, and the other had lasagne. Again, I've included a picture of my lasagne. It wasn't exceptional, but it was certainly better than average. I enjoyed it. My partner thought that the cannelloni was about average. At the end, there were clean and well maintained bathrooms upstairs. The cost of the 2 dishes, a half litre of sparkling mineral water and a Coke zero was â¬25, which isn't excessive. This isn't a restaurant that I will probably remember in detail 2 years from now, but the food was good, not too expensive, and the atmosphere was good as well. If we had half star increments I would probably rate it as 3.5, but it's perhaps a little to the north of that so I will give it a 4. If you're looking for a place to eat either before or after visiting Villa Carlotta or perhaps a cruise from the nearby ferry wharf, you could do far worse than to go here. I'd be prepared to recommend it to a friend.
