We were in the neighborhood and decided to stop in for lunch. Good decision,. There is absolutely nothing special about the outside of this little gem. It's in a rather rundown strip of shops, but the pizza is excellent. The inside is small with about a dozen tables. The waitress was super friendly and service was excellent. While we were there, several people came in for take away and there was a delivery guy who was kept busy. This is primarily pizza and hoagies. There are over 20 different hoagies on the menu, plus 6 lunch salads all priced between $7-9. The hoagies and specialty pizzas are all named for different local areas. We decided on the 16 inch Wallace Woods pizza ($18.99) (pepperoni, bacon, onion, and banana peppers). The pizza reminded me of pizza I had gotten in New York -- dough home made on site, hand tossed, with a crispy bottom but not cracker thin. Excellent. If you want fries with the sandwiches, they are priced extra at $1.99. Soft drinks are $2. On an interesting side note: they have what they call the Drunken Fireman Legend. This is a challenge pizza-- it's a 20 inch, 20 topping, 7 pound pizza that if one person can eat it all they get it for free plus a t-shirt. If you fail, it will cost you $50. I would just like to see what a 7 pound pizza looks like! LOL! We really liked the pizza and plan to return.

Stopped by this restaurant after a Reds game. Pretty cool atmosphere. Their pizza is really good. There's a lot of different beers to choose from. The only downfall was the service. Didn't look like they had enough people to help. Our waitress was a little behind on getting us our drinks. We asked for an extra plate that never came. Other than that experience, it was a good time. Cool vibe.

I took my adult daughter here for a Saturday lunch. They have 9-inch pizzas on their lunch menu, which is the perfect size for lunch. The wood-fired pizza is crunchy with a smokey flavor...very tasty. Everyone can get the pizza they want, which is nice. Pizzas were $10 and soft drinks $3; not bad for OTR.

I cannot say enough about the service and meal we received here. We started with sharing a goat cheese and fig bruschetta which was lovely. Then we decided on the salt crusted branzio for two. That was amazing. Every thing was cooked to perfection. And the service was excellent. I highly recommend this place.Wow Randall, thank you so much for the kind words! We hope to see you again soon for another great experience!

Second visit, first was after work with colleagues. This time I brought my wife before an event at Northern Kentucky University. Both times were great! This place is so fun. There are a ton of TVs, the service if great, and the food is great. There are several great appetizers, wings are on the small side but delicious, the pizza is thin but with a soft crust, and hey have a little of everything as appetizers. Great patio seating and sand volleyball courts too if you want to sit outside. A great stop, don't miss the turn!!

By far our favorite pizza establishment !! Everything we've ever had in the many many times we've eaten here has been very very good. Whether you like your pizza simple or with plenty of items, it's good. Try one of their specialty pizzas. We especially like the Bronx Bomber - ask for light on the onions and some extra cheese, and you have yourself a winner. The only thing that could make this place better is if they had french fries. But I'd still give them an A+ for food quality, value and service - can't be beat !!

A good place to eat with excellent pizza. Very friendly staff, located a very short drive from aquarium, and delicious pizza. We had quick service, restaurant was clean and well maintained. Would recommend. There was no changing table for a baby in the restroom but otherwise great place!

My son proclaimed this to be the best pizza he has ever had. I just may have to agree. The ingredients were uniquely light, fresh, and delicious. The crust was fluffy and tasty. Both salads were light and deliciously healthy. It deserves its rating as the top restaurant in Newport! I also liked how several waiters helped us with everything and had complete autonomy as if we were their own.

Wife and I frequent this place, and have ever since it opened. It's good for family, friends, business stops or just couples. Tonight was a very special time. My wife's birthday was the occasion, and we invited the son, his wife and three grandkids - none who have ever eaten here before. My go to dish is the Pasta Bolognese, similar too spaghetti and meat sauce, but this is made with Italian sausage to give it a nice little kick. The kids shared a couple of pizzas, but the favorite was the 4 cheese, with a little prosciutto ham on top. For dessert, s'mores, what else? This is really a cool dessert. Looks like a calzone, stuffed with marshmallow and then drizzled with chocolate on top. It is too much for one person, or two. But perfect for a larger crowd. We all shared and wanted more, or s'more !! Parking is tight during peak hours. But there is street parking available on the highway or side streets. Nice bar area, a little on the noisy side, but perfect atmosphere for a happening place. Highly recommended.
