Osteria&Pizzeria
We enjoyed an unexpectedly amazingly delicious meal at KOOK in Olgiata, near our holiday exchange home, on our way back from our visit to Ostia Antica. The design and atmosphere is thrilling, inspiring, unique and trendy. The staff were very friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD. All six of us (my family and our eldest daughter's boyfriend) were enjoying the food SO much, thank you for a wonderful and lasting experience!I would recommend this to all my friends, family and food lovers! And if you are looking for an inspiring dining venue: just have a LOOK at the photo's on their website!!!

This Restaurant/Pizzeria 'La Pineta da Mozzone' is one of the oldest Restaurants of this little town, Formello, 27 Kms north in the Province of Rome.It is very well known among the local population and being situated on the first 'High' hill north of Rome has an incredible view of the city of Rome in the distance. The restaurant is family run by Lollo his wife Elena and her sister Sabina...the children also help out and is a very friendly and relaxing place. The Menu is rather limited but everything that is served is very authentic Italian cuisine...The pasta is homemade, the meat from local farmers and other dishes contain locally produced ingredients.THE PIZZA IS VERY GOOD !!and made on the spot, as you wish, in a big wood oven.It is NOT expensive and very large servings !! Often 'Lollo' organises 'Live-music' nights,no entrance fee is charged and the music is often varied sometimes 'Italian' other times 'Country' etc. The restaurant also has a large external patio where,in the evening, one can admire the distant lights of the city of Rome and relax in the fresh evening air of the summer nights..I often go to 'Lollos' as we call his place and have always had a great meal and enjoyable evening.

We were staying in an AirBNB villa in the area for a couple of days, and whilst there stumbled upon this little Pizzeria. it maybe doesn't have the bells and whistles of some of the other places, but the food is excellent. To either take away or eat in, we were there for two days and went twice :-).The kids played on the playstation whilst we waited fo rthe huge slabs of pizza to come out.Cheap as chips as well....!!!Can heartily recommend

We have been eating here for years and Sergio e la famiglia are great hosts. .Antipasti , primi (pappardelle al sugo Di cinghiale) secondi la tagliata Di filetto is seved in copper pan with potatoes and rocket . For meat lovers the Fiorentina is the best, simply cooked on the wood burning grill and the pizze thin and perfect.Having eaten steak in many cities in many countries, returning here for a good lump of beef is still número no - Grazie Sergio

Spectacular view of the Roman countryside. Nice location, very nice service and interesting tasti food and good wine selection. All good. A nice experience. Indoor & outdoor. Worth going to.
The first thing to say is this is a a venue for all occasions. The hanging baskets and outdoor seating area are beautiful! We started off with the antipasto Nera - I couldnât recommend this more highly. A variety of Italian dishes including crunchy focaccia, steak tartare with golden kiwi as well as steak in red berry and apricot sauce.. absolutely delicious. For mains we had bucatini allâamatriciana - it was a very healthy portion and I couldnât stop eating. Everything was accompanied with some amazing red wines. This place is just great, you are greeted with a smile by everyone, the staff are fantastic and the food is just as good!10/10 would recommend.

If you're looking for delicious authentic Italian flavors, premium quality at an affordable price, go to 7su7!You can see that the staff has been well trained by the service, they are fast, responsive and lovely. The restaurant is inside a sporting center, the decoration is modern and well renovated, I loved the minimalist spirit.Last but not least, the food is just delicious! I am in love with their truffle pizza and their pasta with a coconut sauce and shrimp carpaccio dish, it is heaven. Do not forget to try their shrimp crispy appetizer. See the pictures for more :D!Do not miss this restaurant if you are in the region!!

Pizzeria with wood oven, situated in the center of Castelnuovo di Porto, a typical village a few kilometers from Rome, pizza dough with Roman and Neapolitan buffalo mozzarella cheese, home-made cakes.
Catelnuovo is well worth visiting itself, typical beautiful Italian small town. Italians living in Rome will either eat at their local place or if not, they will drive out of the city to find fantastic restaurants like Frantoio with real Italian food! The waiters are friendly and helpful, and it is not expensive! Order a mix of everything for the antipasti. You can drink good vines for less than 10 euros a litre. The pizza is marvellous, actually the best I have ever eaten in Italy. Everything is homemade! You can choose between many different pizzas. Just remember the pizzas are not small, two persons can easily share one. So if you get tired of the touristic places in Centro Storico, now you know where to go to see everyday life in Italy.
