Things to do in Findlay
Stopped by on a Sunday, first time visit. No menu was posted, waitress had a look for one. A lot of phone orders were coming in and after looking at the menu realized that they deliver to a very large out-of-town area! They have a nice selection of items: advertise fresh homemade sub buns for their subs and foldovers, salads, lasagna, bread stix, buffalo or chicken chunks and pizza. Pizza sizes are 10", 12", 14", 16" or Junior Jumbo and 24 pc Jumbo. They also offer a gluten free. Ordered a Jumbo AJ's special - a delightful combination of pepperoni, mushrooms, sausage, ham, onions, green peppers and cheese. This 24 piece rectangular pizza was exactly as advertised - delightful! Seems most business must be pickup and delivery, they do have 4 tables (18 seats) for eat in. I would return again if I was in the mood for pizza while in the Findlay area!
Dominoes has improved their thick crust (hand-tossed) pizza by adding some mild herbs on the outter crust. The thin crust is almost too thin. Their competitor, Jac & Does has better thin crust. The sausage is not the small crumbly kind but rather think small meatballs. Our green peppers were longer pieces, not diced. When I called in an order on a Friday night around 5 I was told 10 to 15 minutes. It was ready when I arrived and accurately rung up with the $5.99 large 2 item special.
Excellent pizza and delicious garlic cheese bread.. We ordered the Deluxe 5, Philly cheese steak and they even have a cauliflower crust which is really really good..Dougie Johns is family owned with great people and great service and they even have a carside pickup!!! Highly Recommend
Have been eating Pollyeyes for years. And now they are in Findlay with the same amazing taste. Thanks for keeping up the reputation with amazing stuffed chicken and cheese bread sticks. I will continue to order. Tried the pizza once, it was ok. Can't beat the bread sticks.
stopped for lunch. dining room has changed since our last visit. a few tables and mostly booths. booths make you feel like you sank to the floor. was able to order quickly. i feel they are very over priced for what they offer. we were able to get a meal deal. half sub, chips and a drink for 8.99. not to bad but still a lot. waited a while but they were very busy. Food was served hot and was good.

I got the ham, onions and cheese pizza. It was very good and the crust was thin. Prices are good for lunch they had a special you got a half of a sandwich with a salad and drink for $9. Just wish they had more sandwich choices.

Could not believe the huge pizza for only $20.50 and it was good. Traveling through from Georgia and had trouble finding them with GPS. Owner talked me in to restaurant and was waiting for me. My husband had parked a little down from the restaurant and as the owner drive out he offered to drive me back to the car with my pizza. Hood ole timey service.

Great pizza, subs & salads. Always a good meal. You can customize your pizza by doubling or tripling up your crust. Clean inside. My only complaint is the dinning room was freezing and it got worse every time the door opened.

With a name like this, one would think they are a fabulous pizza joint. Not so much and the name is made up (I asked). We were there for dinner and the only patrons. Ordered the fried combo platter, cheese sticks, spiced cheese tots, fries mac&cheese, onion rings and fried ravioli, 2 kinds, spicy and plain. Although the special pizza was piled high, it was more a deep dish with fresh veggies, mixed meats and a great marinara, vs thin and crispy. Itâs an older sparse âindustrialâ vibe establishment that probably does better with delivery or take out. Prices are decent. But be prepared no alcohol, which is ok but pizza is better with beer. IMO

Eaten here several times and have always had good service. You can expect to wait on most Friday/Saturday nights or on big game days for a table. That being said, I think the food is just average if I'm being honest. The menu is huge and they do have a thin crust artisan-style pizza that is quite good but mostly the offering is more like glorified "bar food". I've not found anything fresh-made or otherwise "special" that says "I have to go to Beer Barrel tonight to get X". Please don't misunderstand, this is a fine place to eat, especially to watch a game, but there are tons of places in town that can really deliver an original meal rather than glorified bar food.Matt-We appreciate your feedback and business. Feel free to reach out to us for menu recommendations. We have several mad- from-scratch daily items on the menu that we would love for you to try.
