The restaurant has an open-sided first floor terrace which can be hot until the sun retreats behind the hills at around 7pm. Then it's fine. There is also a large indoor restaurant for those (few) rainy days. 'Noah's Ark' (its name in Italian) is much visited by families from the nearby campsite looking for, and finding, excellent good value pizzas. But it also serves a much wider range of Italian meat and pasta dishes, all very tasty and good value. I ate here on many evenings and was never disappointed. They also provided me with a mega picnic lunch for an early start walking in the mountains.

... doesnât reside here. We were three adults and a 7 year old, sat at a small table on a Sunday evening. The venue is modern (recently opened), reasonably funky, in a light industrial/commercial area. It was quite busy, but probably because it was a Sunday and because a lot of the local eateries are shut-down during the off-season. They offer quite a selection of pizze, but they are very similar and mainstream; no adventurous variations here. Prices are average. The pizze delivered to our table were large and generously topped. While cooked on demand, the pizze proved to be soggy and insipid (and, for some, indigestible). Mine was spicy salame and nduja sausage but had no kick at all. We asked for chilli oil (a standard condiment in any pizzeria) and got supermarket chilli powder. Service was prompt but largely charmless and they got our coffee order wrong. For a new venue, the experience should have been much better. Instead it proved, unadventurous, but unforgettable, for the wrong reasons.

The food was good, nothing outstanding and reasonable prices. Good wine list and not expensive. Beers were okay priced also.We had lunch there. Good value compared to in town

This restaurant is on top of a shopping center called Conad. The building looks good, the shops are a bit shabby as the construction was completed when the recession fell. On the second floor with a large bay window there is a restaurant that has a good view over the lake. The food is good and particularly the buffet that they serve for lunch is excellent value. Paella is very good or any rice dishes. As they have a lot of space, there is a risk that you end up eating with big groups of people which happened to us a couple of times. Then obviously the service for a couple is not so good. They are very good with children too, and as there is space, children could be noisy without anyone paying much attention.

The first time I went here I had some of the best Pizza I have ever had in my life. I was a visit or to Feriolo and I did not now anyone. I went back for 3 months, to this wonderful village, and went to Al Vecchio Canetto many many times during my stay. The staff are the best part of this restaurant but the food is also very, very good! They offer special menu events such as Thai night and French night, etc., and their chefs are wonderful--really top notch. My favorite remains the pizza--there are endless varieties. It's really like 3 or 4 restaurants in one--outside is a beautiful patio area on the lake which is great for a romantic dinner OR watching soccer games as well. In the inside area there is gelato, a coffee bar, a full bar and restaurant, and a side room that could be for private parties, in the outer porch area there are pool tables, comfortable lounge furniture and more TVs for fun sports watching. Whatever you are looking fir, you can find it there. The people who work there are absolutely wonderful and the service is terrific!

Went there on a Friday night, rather late (9:30 pm) on a hunch and discovered an empty table outside,no sign that said "riservato".Sat down on the empty (no cutlery etc) but dirty table.Sat there for good 10 Minutes before the waiter decided to notice us while waiting on another table.Waited, waited, waited and after 10 further minutes the waiter decided to grace us with his attention. He asked us (barely comprehensible) if we had reservations. We told him,we didn't and he told us that the Restaurant is completely booked! What the heck? There where several empty tables and no sign of any reservation! And completely booked at 9:30?Why did he need 20 Minutes to tell us this?Honestly,we didn't feel welcomed and walked away-and we won't be back, that's for sure!

Had a lovely dinner here last week. The food was excellent and I do recommend that you leave enough room for a dessert - the millefeuille was the best! Good, friendly, professional service and a lovely location on the lake. I hope to return one day.

Staying at a local campsite, I ate here three nights running. All were excellent. Very popular, it's essential to book. Good wine by the carafe or bottle, the range of food is excellent: ranging from the usual Italian classics to a good steak, swordfish and other seafoods. Good, friendly team directed by hyper-active 'mama' who is really sweet. Good for families. Big outdoor eating area.

Great food, a fantastic view of the lake, fast service and a great ambiance! Luca, the owner, treats every guest as if he knows them for years and makes sure everyone feels right a home. Definently the best restaurant you can find in feriolo!

What a magical setting looking straight down on the swans paddling Lake Maggiore, and the local church tower of the village of Feriolo di Baveno. Seafood Ravioli, Cesar salad with chicken were delicious. We purposely saved room for dessert, a bigne (cream puff) topped with blackberry coulis, and a fine tiramisu. Prices were very reasonable (4 Euros for glass o house wine and our service was very attentive. (Since we )were there early by Italian standards (7:15) on a Tuesday night, there was no wait for a lakefront table. Waiters spoke some English.)
