Disgusting, unclean, con merchants!Found a maggot in our porcini mushroom pizza tonight . The staff first attempted to tell us it was a piece of rocket but there was no rocket on the pizza , so then they tried to tell us it was a piece piece of tree . Didnât see any trees on the plate . I understand that wild mushrooms do sometimes contain the odd bug . But trying to con us it was a twig really shows deceit and contempt for the customer. There was little but a begrudging apology and after attempting to get us to except the dish minus the maggot which we declined, another dish was offered. There was no reduction in the bill. No complimentary glass of wine, nothing . They even had the cheek to ask if we wanted dessert. If it hadnât been a celebratory meal with my family and my desire to keep things pleasant I would not of paid . I would advise anyone thinking of eating here to avoid it unless you enjoy eating insects. And after nearly twelve years of going there we will never again. The said maggot along with pictures will be sent To Enfields food safety dept tomorrow . Something that will be dealt with seperately. As you said wild mushrooms can often contain the odd bug which is beyond our control never the less the situation couldn't have been pleasant for you and I 100% agree it should've been handled better which again I can only apologise for. I can only hope that after being a loyal customer for many years you will give us a chance to resolve this how it should've been resolved as we would be happy to welcome you back at any time. We love Tomo! A rare five star review from every member of the family. Amazing service, truly great pizza (hence five stars from the junior branch) - but unlike any other of the Italian restaurants in the locality, it serves wonderful pasta and proper Italian mains too. Tomo has a helpful vegetarian menu making it very clear to veggies what does and doesnât work from the main menu, which is a boon as the main menu is quite dense, in a very good way.The pizzas are great. Really interesting variations (today was smoked duck, rocket and red pesto) but a bog standard margarita is anything but. And a wonderful roast beetroot, shallot, Gorgonzola and pine nut risotto special.The ambience is super friendly. Itâs not glam and it doesnât need to be. It is, however, the perfect local restaurant. Came here last night after some months and had a very enjoyable meal. Much better than prezzo or any Italian chain. The carbonara pizza was great will definitely try that again and would recommend the coconut sorbet. The service was very good the waitress was very nice. Very laid back inside with a relaxed feel. Will definitely be returning.

Well in the main if you have one Frankie and Benny's you have been to them all. It's one of those "lookie-likie" chains. The only real difference between any outlet and another is the the standard of cooking and service.As for this branch, the food was cooked well and the service was excellent. Admittedly the place was only a quarter full, our server came for our order in under ten minutes, the starters were with us in under 20 minutes, and the mains were with us ten minutes after the starters were finished.Everything was delivered in appropriate time.

Our first visit and definitely not our last! Extensive menu catering for every need! Lots of gluten free options and the food was very fresh. The staff couldnât have been more helpful and were very eager to cater for any allergies. Reasonably priced too. We will be visiting again very soon!!

We went for a drink and bite to eat on a weeknight. Inside is very nice. There is an Extensive gin selection and I was offered the Gin of the week.There are lots of tables outside and most had umbrellas so we managed to sit outside despite a bit of rain. There are even seating booths outside which was different. Had to wait a long time for the second round of drinks and the staff member behind the bar was quite stressed but they did apologise for that later. There are various meal offers on week nights, burger chips and drink for £12 was good value and tasty. Good place for groups both inside and outside. Not sure if there is step free access from the car park into pub, as we went through the garden down some steps to get to the bar. We were driving pass the area and found this by chance.We had 1 pizza, 4 tapas and bread among us. Food was lovely , even the person who doesn't normally eat aubergine ate the aubergine bake.Portions were generous, were so full that we couldn't have dessert even tho it looks inviting.Staff were very friendly.The ONLY disappointment was the coffee..we like a nice cup of strong Italian coffee but that is personal preference.When we next pass that way, will definitely make sure it is a meal time so we can stop off before our destination.

Second visit, first not great so thought Iâd give them a second chance! Reserved a table - they appeared to have forgotten! We were seated and it was our servers first shift! Not the greatest experience again. Couldnât use the waiters friend properly to open wine, when he did, just plonked the bottle on the table and didnât ask if we wanted to try. Asked for a shared starter, waited ages and then it was bought with our mains! We wanted the starter AS a starter, so sent mains back. They finally delivered the mains second time round after ages and ages. Canât fault the food, service letâs them down. Shame as wont get a 3rd chance

Its a very cozy restaurant with a family atmosphere, suitable for any occasion. Cuisine is 100% Italian with fresh ingredients and good quality, the pizza is excellent. Staff are warm, young and very helpful. Itâs ideal for whoâs looking to eat authentic Italian food. I would highly recommend it.
