My parents have been going to this restaurant for over 30 years. I was with them visiting relatives in Riverside and they said we should go eat at this restaurant. Only an hour out of the way in traffic! Okay I said and boy was I glad. The bread on the table was the best and we all ordered the meat manicotti and it was delicious. We all took some home as after eating bread and salad it would be difficult to finish your entre. Claudia the order is a hard worker and food was delicious!

The pros. This is a cool place to bring your kids to let them enjoy the games and rides. Perfect for three and up. The games are just the right height and easy for kids to use. Cons: A bit overprice on the food. Not sure why beer is sold since it's a family restaurant. I would think that staff would emphasized on cleaning but they lack it. I would encourage parents to take there own clean wipes if your going to take your child.

I needed sandwiches for a high school team playing at the regional tournament nearby and noticed this locally own deli on TA. Much better choice than Quiznos's! The wraps were hand-crafted with amazingly fresh lettuce. But what really makes this a nice place is how friendly the staff was. They made me feel like I was a regular customer who stopped by every day! Oh, and the team clearly preferred the Deli Box wraps to the tray of pre-prepared wraps from Von's.

I live in El Monte, and this is the best pizza in town.But wait! They also have mojo potatos and chicken.--WHO NEEDS SHAKEY'S?!!----- I recommend the buffalo wings.MMM MMM--THEY'RE SPICY AND SO VERY TASTEY!It's a family owned business (VERY FRIENDLY) and their prices are very reasonable. I travel to Southern California about once or twice each year and I'm always looking forward having pizza at Shakey's. What makes their Pizza stand out compared to other pizza places and chains is their pizza sauce.. I usually order a medium or even large thin crust with pepperoni or mushrooms with extra sauce.. That combination is by far my favorite Pizza anywhere and I've had Pizza in many countries and cities, including Italy, New York, Florida and many other places and if I have to pick on what my favorite Pizza is, it's the thin crust, extra sauce mushroom and Pepperoni Pizza at Shakey's.. Too bad that their only Florida location in Homestead has closed their doors.. The Shakey's location that I most frequenly visit while staying in the LA area is the one on Valley Blvd. in El Monte but all the other locations that I've visited had the same deliscious Pizza..
