I've been to this place several times over the past years. I think their pizza is one of the best, anywhere. But, my last two experiences have been less than satisfactory. First, I ordered a pizza over the phone for pickup. That was fine. When I went to pick it up, I stood there for ten minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. After finally getting my pizza and paying by credit card, the lady handed me the receipt to sign and took off. I guess she was too busy to finish the transaction. The second time was Friday night. We wanted to have dinner before a concert. When we walked in there were two groups ahead of us. Again we waited ten minutes before someone hurriedly said "We'll be with you as soon as we can" and went off to do something else. We ended up walking out, along with one of the parties that were waiting and a group who had been seated and evidently still hadn't had their order taken. Come on Nicolosi's. Get it together!

Being from the East Coast I guess we have a different view of what Pizza should be...BUt if you are looking for a nice and gooey cheese and great flavored pizza with a very good crust this is your place!Trust me this place is not fancy - you can eat-in or get take-out for a good price. Staff is always helpful even at the busiest of times. On a regular basis we will order pizza for lunch for the office and it creates an instant crowd in the kitchen.

Home of San Diego's most delicious sandwich and outrageously tasty old stylie Italian American food and great service. On my quest for the ultimate toasted sub sandwich, I found Bongiovanni's. Excellent excellent classic food, reasonable prices in an unexpected location.

We had to wait ove 30 minutes to be seated, thought that would have meant that the food would be great. Food was good, but not great. Salad was alright, bread a bit burnt, no garlic butter, place was busy, hard to get attention. Chicken parm was good, homemade noodles were lacking, vegetable primavera needed seasoning. Odd for an Italian restaurant to skip on the garlic. A bit disappointing.

My wife and I went to Dileone's Italian Restaurant for our Anniversary Dinner, and had a very nice night. Linda A. our server was some nice and had a very pleasant and funny personality. Linda came by our table many times during our meal, making sure we were satisfied and had everything we needed. My wife had the Shrimp Scampi which had Jumbo shrimp sauteed with garlic, white wine, herbs and lemon. Served with a side of sauteed mushrooms an her choice of soup or salad and garlic bread. My wife said it was delicious and finished the entire meal. I had the Linguini DiLeone's, which was Shrimp, Scallops, mushrooms and garlic in a marinara sauce with pasta. My dish was huge and the scallops were cooked perfectly and were so tender. We also enjoyed some of DiLeone's Chianti wine, and Dileone's Co-Owner Franci nicely gave us a dessert to enjoy for our Anniversary celebration. What a Great Place ! Check it out !

I have eaten here several times and stopped by today with a couple of friends before heading out and doing some hiking. You can be guaranteed that your lunch will be very good, and very filling! I elected for the meatball sandwich today, the dining area was very clean and there was plenty of room for us to sit. Our orders were taken very quickly and the staff polite and professional. She came by a couple of times while are food was being prepared to see if we needed anything. The food was delivered in a timely manner and as expected was very fresh and filling! We at quickly so we could get to our activity, I think the server picked up on our rush and checked with us one more time to see If we needed anything else. We said we were done, and our check was delivered within a minute! Very attentive staff, very clean dining area and excellent food! Highly recommended!

I decided on the Monday night special which was half a lasagna, soup or salad, and garlic bread. The salad was ordinary but that lasagna, so good with amazing cheese pull! I can't imagine how big a normal size piece is because I couldn't finish this half piece. The garlic bread was good for slopping up sauce. Just delicious! I ordered a piece of raspberry cheesecake to take back to the hotel. It looks yummy! Definitely would come back. All this for $13.90, great bargain for great food!
