My girlfriend and I went here one evening, craving for a good pizza, while it doesn't really look like a place where they would do good pizza's, we ended up getting a good surprise, not only was it good pizzas, but the food also came very quickly, an it wasn't expensive ;-)
Après-ski with a difference: come into one of most the most rustic ski huts in the Flachau ski area. The KAMIN-KLAUSE welcomes guests right next to the valley station of the âAchterjetâ cable car with its unmistakable charm. We serve tasty ski hut delicac
Visited 4.1.2019., nobody of whole staff does not speak English, every question asked on English answered on German, half of the meals on menu are not awailable, every beverage ordered came in glass without bottle, pancakes are avrage, not awailable with Nutella, only with chocholate sauce that is as liquid as wather. PAYMENT - CASH ONLYDear Klopa123,thank you for visiting us in our ski hut Kamin-Klause. We are very sorry that we couldn´t meet your expectations! Please allow us to explain from our side....: We are a rustic ski hut! We speak English well and also have an English menu. However, we offer no menu choice but a lot of individual austrian traditional dishes. We are a ski hut and yes it is true we offer NO nut nougat cream! But there are apricot pancakes or cranberry pancakes or pancakes filled with sweet cottage cheese on our menu. And YES! we serve our drinks in glasses, because we are a restaurant with waiters which serve everything to our guests! We can not quite understand when you write it is just possible to pay in cash! Since the beginning of the winter season, since December 2018, our guests can pay by credit card, even with wireless connection! We are sorry if you did not like your visit with us, but there are many other guests and they really like it very much and love our rustic character in our cosy skihut since 45 years! Of course we would be very glad to welcome you another time in our lovely Kamin-Klause <3Sincerely Maria Brunäcker & Team Kamin-Klause urig.gemütlich.echt Flachau

It all started with the waiter smoking inside the restaurant!!! Then she completely messed up ALL our order even those it was a Wiener Schnitzel, so the most basic thing in Austria still. The good is ok. But really not recommend it

Good pizza restaurant. We were welcomed with a smile (2 families, 12 persons). Service was good. Food served fast but luckily no sense of urgency to free up our table. Pizzas were normal size, not at all small as I read in other review. Big variety and most pizza's in range ⬠9.50 - 10.00 .Salad and pasta were tasty as well. We can definitely recommend this restaurant.

The small town of St. Martin is ideal for beginners and especially families with kids learning to ski. The restaurant is next to the skischool and the Knabllift, the meeting point for all skiclasses. The kids have lessons from 10:00-12:00 and 13:30-15:30 and in the one and half hour lunch break families generally troop into the Da Moare restaurant. As my kids mentioned: "It's a good restaurant mom, because when you order you get your drinks really quickly!". And this is absolutely true. Service is quick and cordial. The menu contains a large selection of pizza's, but Austrian traditional food as well, such as Schnitzel (though pork, not veal), Rostbraten etc. There is a children's menu with easy to remember names as Hansel and Grettel (sausage and fries), Speedy Gonzalez (children's pizza) and spaghetti etc. As I did not want to eat only meat the whole week, I opted for a grilled chicken breast salad for a couple of times, which was a great choice. So don't be afraid if you're not big on pizza or meat. I did find the pizza's a bit heavy on salt if I had to criticize. For dessert there was applestrudel (and some other choices), which though I did not try it myself, I was told was good.Another positive thing in my opinion was that when my kids ordered hot chocolate the temperature was adapted to not so scolding hot so they could drink it right away. Little touches like that make it a very agreeable place for families.Don't expect a very fancy place, nor a traditional Austrian Gasthof type restaurant, but a great place for lunch when skiing, that provides quick service, is clean and not too expensive. For lunch with two adults and two children including drinks we spent about 45 euro's. Expect maybe a bit more if you order more drinks and/ or alcohol.BTW Pizza's are takeout too.

We tried to go there on Friday evening, but it was full... We made a reservation for Saturday and went there for pizza. It was delicious. The beer was served quickly and cooled nicely. The waitress was attractive and pleasant :) We enjoyed the stay in a nice restaurant. We left good tip :) Other food seemed delicious as well (from other tables), we can recommend it! And prices were OK :)

We choose this pizzeria-restaurant for the children and they were not disappointed, neither were we. Pizza's and spaghetti were excellent, as well the pepper steak for the adults. Very nice and extensive menu cards with great desserts, ask the children. On top the service was very friendly and above all discreet and patient.

I am going to lots of restuarants around the world alone and with my family. It is hard to find such a perfect one as this. We came on our summer family trip with our 3 kids and had a large dinner. Had 6 mains, 3 firsts and a desert.Everything was superb, well presented and tasted like heaven. Not one miss (accept for a bit dry tiramisu). I can not wait to go there again. Had pizza, fish, schnitzel, meat , pasta ,lots of food ,fair price as well. About 150 euro for it all.

A little bit out of town (10 mins walk from Main Street) and in an elevated position above town. Very good quality pizzas, pasta salads etc as well as more traditional meat and fish dishes. Large dining area and a Stuberl too. Very good value for money and quality good.

Had a takeaway pizzas and a lasagne.......The Lasagne was nothing like a normal Lasagne, it was 2 lumps of stodge in a sweetish sauce. The Pizzas were also stodgy and a bit undercooked.Perhaps we caught them on a bad day, but whatever the problem was a waste of money.
