Sambuca Durham is a vibrant and welcoming Italian Restaurant where friends and family can gathered together in a relax atmosphere. Unbeatable both value and food quality delivered by a very committed, competent and friendly staff.
Excellent happy hour menu - usual Italian style food - very good lasagne and beautiful minestrone soupOn the whole staff are nice Worth a visit for a reasonably priced early tea - havenât been at any other time so canât comment on more complex menu but fab fir pizza pasta

At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We donât do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. Weâre all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food.Durham is rich with history and we wanted
My friend brought me has a treat . Lovely buzzing atmosphere. We both choose a different pizza and shared. Both were lovely. I had melting chocolate pudding with icecream. It was delicious. Will definitely go again

This is such a charming little authentic italian restaurant. Greeted by very friendly staff - we booked a table in advance and I would definitely recommend doing that as it became full pretty quickly after we were seated. Excellent menu choice including specials - all sounded yummy. I opted for the seafood pasta which I have to say is the best I have ever eaten - plenty of mussels, large prawns and chuncky pieces of fish all in a delicious tomato and garlic sauce. Others had pizza which looked equally as good.Wine choice, although limited, was good quality at reasonable prices. All in all an excellent meal in nice cosy setting with knowledgable and friendly staff.

Family owned and independent since 1996. La Spaghettata brings a homely, friendly atmosphere with authentic Italian cooking at the best value for money. Not just a pizza pasta house, our talented chefs bring in fresh local seafood, meat and poultry and cr
Luckily the chain restaurant across the road was full so we thought weâd try here. Very happy about that.Super welcome, big portions of freshly cooked traditional Italian pastas and pizzas. There is a surprisingly wide choice on the menu, with a few specials and something for everyone.Loved the calamari starter, pasta mains were quite big portions and delicious. Vegetarian options a plenty. We didnât feel rushed, the coffee was top notch, and the team of staff were keeping the restaurant clean and tidy.We will be very happy to come back

Italian Restaurant serving hot and cold food all day and night. Everything from pizza and pasta to fajitas and panninis. We are sure we have something suited to your taste
Not the first time we have visited this restaurant. We had the two course special. Spoilt for choice as there were plenty of options from pasta to pizzas. Service was great and the food was delicious and good value. Really enjoyed it. Only drawback is this place can get quite busy so you may have to go upstairs. Despite this this place is worth the effort. Will certainly go back.

Freshly prepared authentic Mexican cuisine including enchiladas, chimichangas, fajitas. Our menu also includes slow cooked ribs, handmade pizzas, fish, chicken and steak dishes. Food is cooked to order, so we can adjust our dishes to suit individual dieta
Nice little restaurant on Claypath. Good menu.Chose the fiery king prawns on Mexican rice and the hanging kebabs. Decent portions and very fresh. Garlic bread wasnât really âbreadâ however, it was a pizza base and not that great.Decent cocktails. Reasonable service.

Friendly welcome and good service. Restaurant very noisy (busy night I guess). Tables closely arranged so not much space between neighbouring guests.Restaurant advertises itself as offering 'authentic Italian food' - not to my mind. Our meals were bland in taste. Pizza dough very heavy. Pasta fillings meagre. Sauces on meat under seasoned..First visit. Probably will not return.

There was a large group of us for my mam's 60th birthday, and everything came together wonderfully. Starters and mains were lovely- no complaints. I had the kiev pizza which was lovely, and the mozzarella to start. My mam was surprised with a birthday cake which the restaurant let us eat there. Lovely evening and lovely accommodating staff. Thanks for taking the time to review our restaurant,Iâm glad that you all enjoyed your, and your mum had a great birthday day,
