We ate here twice during our stay. The pizza menu was very traditional, as a vegetarian I would of liked the option of adding toppings to a Margarita. However my husband had the Inferno pizza which he thoroughly enjoyed very hot and spicy. the portions of pommes frites (chips) were huge . All at very reasonable prices .The staff were helpful and polite.
We got two different pizzas (mexicansk & calzone) and they were very good. We Can strongly recommend this place due to qualyty and hospitality. Perfect dinner.

We had read great reviews so booked our last night here. The waitress was extremely good with our tired daughter and seemed very busy in the downstairs of the restaurant. However I never saw her without a smile. The service was a little slower than I would expect but nothing was too much trouble. We were disappointed that we could not order spaghetti with tomato sauce as a childâs portion. However we managed to share the adult portion and it was delicious as was the rest of our meal.
Kind and helpful staff with amazing food. We tried burger, salad and pizza and it was all delicious and well made. A very happy surprise. We will be coming back again for sure.

We entered the restaraunt and wanted to eat with 'la carte' (dinner menu with lower price). And waiter told us, that dinner menu is valid only for smoking area. And if we want to sit in non-smoking area, we should pay full price in dinner time!!!!The worst ever restaraunt in European Union...

A little out of the centre and a bit hidden, but worth the find. Popular and busy and probably best to book. Pizza was good and reasonably priced.Enjoyed our visit.

Gastein Alm - die Alm im Tal auf 858 m in Bad Hofgastein - direkt am Schlossalmparkplatz.
We stopped by here as a family (6 years old & 2 years old) for lunch. We just had pizzas & drinks, but the pizzas were excellent, the service friendly & quick & the prices reasonable. The place is nicely decorated & I am sure would be a pleasant venue to enjoy some drinks after a day on the slopes - it is only a few minutes from the bottom of the new gondola lift in Bad Hofgastein

Our NEW Restaurant and Pizzeria is located in the local centre of Dorfgastein and offers delicious homemade pizza and other dishes in a cosy atmosphere. Beside the main restaurant, we offer also a smaller nicely decorated room, for approximately 25 guests
The quality of the food is marginal and the waitstaff is unfriendly and unhelpful. We came to this restaurant without a recommendation, but just by chance. Among all my experiences of dining around the world this is clearly one of my worst. There are other restaurants is this charming Austrian village and they should all be used before trying this place.

Run by an friendly Italian owner, good authentic pizzas and pastas are available, along with a range of other Italian salads and starters. The tagliatelle al salmone was tasty- a good balance of tomato sauce and cream , the pasta done well. The gnocchi with gorgonzola cream sauce and rucola/Parmesan on top was very good as well. The pizzas were nicely done as well, we had both the salami and the quattro formaggi (4 cheese) and both were good. Plenty of options for wines by the glass and a broad range of choices for drinks including Italian specialties. If you are looking for a break from Austrian food, this is a great option to consider.
