I know the Italians don't eat Pizza or Pasta for main course... but the food they serve at La Vita Bella is delicious. We had one plate of sardines between 2 of us. The moment we walked in the door we saw that the portions were more than generous. Our sardines were nicely grilled and served in a bit of olive oil with garlic, peppers and spring onions, accompanied by some bread and garlic butter. We then had a salad (my wife) with prawns and beef, which was very tender and tasty. I had a spaghetti with prawns and salmon in a creamy gorgonzola sauce. A lovely dish. We had coffee's afterwards and my espresso was up to Italian standard, Excellent. The bottle of white Sicilian house wine we had was also excellent, much more flavour than most white house wines. The service was also prompt, polite, knowledgeable and charming. What more can you ask for???

I love this place, especially this time of the year when it is not that busy.Normally we always sit outside but I have to admit it was to cold this January night to sit outside even thought the infrared heating is.I had my favorite pizza blue cheese with banana, so delicious and a Glas of merlot.Everything is very tasty so it doesn't really matter what you choose. But if you fancy something sweet try the Belgian Waffel, it's absolutely perfect. Crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle, I prefer it with butter and sugar, unhealthy I know but oh so delicious, not finished there we end the unhealthy eating with a perfect nice Irish coffee. For people who have never been in Domburg please try this place, you won't get disappointed. The only annoying thing is the high season when the place is over full and busy, and you can not make any table reservations.

The few people that were at work when we visited had to work like crazy: the place was packed and there were plenty of people ordering take away food too. So we had to wait a while for our pizza and salad to arrive, but it was all allright. Excellent pizza napoletana and a very nice salad. Good service, given the circumstances. Recommended!

We came here because my sister's children wanted pizza. It was very busy, but we managed to secure the last two tables in the back half of the restaurant - this was perfect on a warm evening as the roof opens right up!We all ordered pizzas, although there are various pasta and other dishes available, as it would otherwise work out very expensive for all of us ( a party of 10). The pizzas were large, and a nice thin crust, but mine was very salty (I ordered chicken with basil and pine nuts, but the chicken was very thin dry slices more like turkey ham) and my sister and brother in law found theirs rather greasy. It only opens at 5, so perhaps we suffered from the tail end of the first rush. You might also need to kniw the toilets are up very steep stairs, which might make it unsuitable for some.It only opens at 5pm, so maybe we suffered at 6 by getting the tail end of the early rush. You might also need to know the toilets are upstairs, and the stairs are very stedp so it may not be suitable for everyone.
