A simply and quality restaurant! In the restaurant of Hotel Lario, every day, you can try our fresh pasta by our labs, seconds typical course from the area of Lake of Como, or a real quality pizza.
Arrived early evening having not precooked a table but was found a spot on the terrace at the back of the restaurant. Canât quite see the lake but overlook fields and quite quiet. 3 people serving tables therefore service was excellent and attentive but not too much. A variety of fresh bread arrived to start. I had a Salami Pizza, nothing too adventurous but very tasty and nicely done. My partner had a Porcini tagliatelle with mushrooms which was very light hence the plate cleaned. Tiramisu and Panna Cotta followed and were nicely done. All in all an enjoyable meal, great service and a fair price. Wish we had come earlier in the week as we would have visited more than one.

I visited this restaurant/pizzeria in front of our camping. Very friendly service, low prices and very good value for money.
Very decent local pizzeria with a great value-for-money. It is a mixture of take-out pizzeria and a proper restaurant, so do not expect anything super fancy - it is a simple place, but it is worth visiting for a pizza dinner. The place was full with a mixture of local people and german-speaking tourists, who also seemed happy with the food and relaxed atmosphere. For two goodd size pizzas, half liter of wine, coffee and patatine for our son we paid less than 30e... If I happen to be there again - I go back to La Favola.

Sometimes, you wonder if other reviewers have been to the same place - or maybe we are just lucky...Saturday evening, there was a short wait for a table. Service was good (the waiters were really busy), the pizzas were excellent and the beer nice and cold. We did not feel rushed, prices were typical for the area.We were seated outside (highly recommended) and could see the pizzaiolo at work. It's an art form. Italy has spoiled us - it will be a long time before I want American pizza again.

We have ordered vitello tonnato, arabiata pizza and spaghetti pesto. Vitello sauce was made mainly of mayonnaise and some tuna instead of tuna, anchovies, capers and mayonnaise. It tasted ok but it was't something I would have expected the Italian restaurant in Italy. Pizza was far too spicy but certainly some will feel satisfied. The worst was the pesto - it was some poor quality product from the shop. I am doing pesto on my own with fresh basil and it takes about 4 minutes. Again - in Italian resturants in Italy you want to get something fantastic, fresh, homemade. Moreover the service is not friendly and efficient.

We took a day trip to Gravedona from Colico and arrived here shortly after opening, after a day of rain .... there were plastic tables outside, but as these were wet they were seating people inside .... whilst there were 3 tables out of about 15 occupied, we were shown through to the back area, next to the kitchen where there were around 4 tables .... was ok, but a bit dingy and 'out the way' --- I asked if we could sit in the main restaurant to look out the front, but they were reserved --- granted there were reserved signs on a LOT of the tables .... and I'm just not sure if they were reserved, or 'being held' for select people ..... did get that impression, but hey I'm not using a crystal ball!!Family of 4 with a 10 and 14 years old, ordered 2 soft drinks, 4 pizzas and litre of house white ..... the wine arrived and I could see a lot of 'bubbles' in it .... almost prosecco like ... I tried the wine and there was definitely a 'fizz' to it .... I questioned the waiter with my litmied Italian !! "Frizzanti" ?! To which he was replying no ..... a second waiter came and said it was just how it was stored, due 'to pressure' ..... the fizz was only visible not actually in the taste ...... short of saying 'It is fizzy try it!" I said it wasn't for us and could we change it for the house red ........ they did so, and this was ok!Pizza's were great - well cooked and tasty. The girls had a mango sorbet, and we ordered a tiramisu which my wife loved.Overall 2 bottles water, coke, apple juice, litre house red, 4 pizza's and the desserts above the bill was â¬65 so all in all not a bad price - think if the sun was out and we could sit outside would have made the experience even better, but not their fault!

We came here the first night during our stay in Colico, but unfortunaltely they didn't have any table availble. The second night, they did.The restaurant serves of course pizzas and pastas, but also meat and fish dishes. And what else should one eat next to the lake than fish.Prices are moderate, even slightly lower than other nearby restaurants. The quality of the food is really good. Service is friendly, sometime a bit hectic because of the size of the restaurant.

Had dinner here one night while in town. Pleasantly greeted, seated and offered an aperitif, nice touch. Ordered a mixed salad and a pizza with mushrooms and sausage all to split. Also had some wine. Service was great and so was the food. We loved the spicy oil for the pizza. Good meal and a super value. Recommend

We went with our 3 kids. The staff was really busy and did not manage to get the meals on the right order and at the right time. Pizzas were good but nothing special. Risotto was sooooo oily.... Nothing special and the view is not so nice...Buona sera Antonie...Sono molto dispiaciuta a leggere questa recensione..Il mercoledì sera da 5 anni a questa parte siamo soliti fare la promozione della pizza che ti permette di scegliere una pizza una bibita e un caffè a soli 10 euro...ovviamente il ristorante era pieno ma io personalmente sono subito venuta a prendere l ordine...e dato che la memoria non mi manca avete ordinato 3 baby margherite una speck e Zola e lei ha ordinato un riso al pesce persico....tutte queste pietanze sono arrivate insieme e di questo ne sono sicura io personalmente....Parla di olio nel riso?à fuori strada....trattasi di burro rigorosamente nostrano e salvia....Ricordo anche che vi siete seduti dentro dato che la nostra terrazza panoramica era completamente riservata e lei ha chiamato decisamente troppo tardi...ovviamente dall interno la vista non è bellissima....
