I was today showing a friend the kings tour across the Hochkonig ski area, when she spotted this hut from the lift and said that , looks nice, i have never been before so on the way back we called in, we were greeted with a very warm and friendly smile, we ordered a hot chocolate and a Goulash soup, the Hot chocolate was ok, not the best i have ever had, but nothing wrong with it, served in a designed cup on a wooden tray, then came the Goulash soup, which was superb, we also saw other food coming out of the kitchen which all looked excellent, i will defo be back to try a large meal, just as we were leaving live music was also starting, around midday ish, the whole restaurant inside and out was clean and modern with a mountain style, overall very impressed
Top 10 Austrian food in Dienten am Hochkonig, Austrian Alps, Austria
We have been hiking in the Hochkonig area and when for a place to sit and get some lunch. We got toast and pizza w. soft drinks/beers. Excellent service and the food was served freshly made, hot and it was delicius. If you are in the area i.e. Skiing or hiking, we can recoomend this. Nice outdoor area, clean restrooms, and what more are you looking for?

Rada and Milan make for a welcome and comfortable atmosphere of this contemporary restaurant that serves a solid local fare, all well prepared, tasty and reasonably priced. Personally, I believe they serve the best Wiener Schnitzel in the area so try it if you feel tempted.
travelled in close to 40 countries and more than 800 cities, I have had pizza in many places and honestly think that Pizzeria Dolce Vita is the best pizza ever tasted. The service was nice in english and german. The delivery was also very fast as there only a few customers late evening. The pizzeria is open every day from December to end of February. From 17.00 to 23.00. In March they are open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The rest of the year they are closed. The pizza prices were around 9 euros. They also serve local different beer. The only negative side was that they didnt provide free internet for the customers at least that day when we visited. There is a discotec downstairs also owned by the same owners of the pizzeria.
