Find out what Pizza restaurants to try in Dewey Beach. Delaware's Dewey Beach is a spectacular sandbar community - on one side is Rehoboth bay, and on the other side there are the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Dewey Beach itself is a small town of less than 400 people, but it has become a popular tourist destination for anyone interested in water sports and beach vacations, and is the perfect spot for a relaxing family getaway. If you get tired of Dewey Beach, which is pretty much impossible, Cape May is only 30 miles down the road and Brandywine Zoo and the historic Kalmar Nyckel Shipyard are right around the corner.

This location has always been my favorite for grabbing a pizza when at the beach. Pizza is excellent...5 STARS! View overlooking the beach and boardwalk is fantastic. Service is usually pretty good and speedy. For YEARS the downside has always been the interior. It was in desperate need of a makeover. So, imagine my surprise and exuberance when we stopped by for a pizza and saw that it had finally happened. YAY! The booths have been replaced with modern fixtures and the chairs replaced. The carpeting is gone and in its place is a wooden floor. Walls were repainted with natural tones instead of outdated in-your-face colors. The only thing that remained the same were the tables. They will do for now, but could also use an update.Once again we had a great meal at Grotto's. We had our regular order which is a large cheese pizza. Crust is thin & somewhat crispy. Sauce is sweet. Prices are average. Service was friendly and quick. I would recommend and we will be back. Thank you Grotto's for finally updating the interior of my favorite location!! Note: Dining room has been newly updated, but restrooms still needed a makeover as of last visit, May 2019.

My husband and I stopped here for a very late night slice of pizza before heading back to Ocean City after a night of partying in Delaware. It was just the right kind of pizza after a night of drinking. They were very large slices, thick crust yet crispy, plenty of sauce, cheese and toppings and great flavor too! After one slice I was stuffed and couldn't imagine eating another.

Louie's Pizza has been a staple in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware since 1974, serving locals and tourists alike some of the best Pizza, subs and grinders on the eastern shore.
Louie's pizza is better than average. It is much better than grottos. It seems that all restaurants in Rehoboth are more interested in cutting costs and know you aren't coming back.So they really don't care. I suggest trying them. We had a pepperoni pizza and one with extra cheese. The service was good and pizza is better than grottos .

---Two adults midweek early afternoon in a booth on street level. Expansive space with a variety of seating options (e.g., giant booths, tables) on at least two floors.---Crowds have left for the season and the restaurant was not busy. The extensive menu had something for everyone, except maybe vegans. Wait staff ambled to the table in a perfunctory manner, although coursed appropriately.---The Host informed us the air conditioning felt coldest in the back of the restaurant (the doors in the front of the restaurant were open) and it felt very good on a hot day.---The cream-colored french fries were flaccid, albeit hot. Get Thrashers on the Boardwalk instead. Had to request mustard. The Tuna fish sub was average. However, the steaming hot onion soup was served in a very large bowl and was delicious. A large cart offering at least six kinds of gelato (having color-popping flavors) was positioned near the front of the restaurant so that most guests walked by it on the way to their seats. It looked mouth- watering. ---Beer list seemed rather small and do not expect any exotic IPAs.

Home for Bob Ciprietti is Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. Growing up there and falling in love with the food, tradition, and people of NY inspired him to bring a little bit of home to Delaware. Touch of Italy first opened in the fall of 2010 in Lewes, Delaware
This was our first time at this location and it will not be our last. I shouldn't let the word out..... but on Tuesday night the special is chicken parm at $12.50 per person. The portions were humongous. It is not an advertised special, we had to ask for it. Our server Ike was great. He was efficient and friendly. We knew him from another restaurant! The ambiance was great and the food was delicious. I will have 2 more left over meals at home!

A family-owned business, Grotto Pizza is a community oriented, family-friendly, casual dining restaurant that specializes in award-winning pizza, and hospitality.
Great salads and delicious pizza are always on the menu. Although they have other foods as well. we are always very satisfied with pizza and salad. The place is big enough to seat couples or larger groups. Go fancy or go sandy, Grotto has something for everyone!

If you have never tried a Nic-a-Boli, get yourself here NOW! Similar to a calzone but better, the outer crust stuffed with cheese, sauce and the toppings of your choice (spinach, no beef in our case) is a killer combination. Extra dipping sauce is well worth the $1 charge. Though thereâs a newer, larger Nicola location around the corner, tradition keeps us returning to the original on 1st Street. No matter how old we get, the toy train tracking around the ceiling keeps us mesmerized. Get here early - it fills up quickly in here.

We stopped in for lunch while visiting the beach and were pleasantly surprised at how yummy the food was. The chicken tenders were some of the best Iâd ever had. Our son ordered loaded fries with bacon with his pizza and was amazed at the size of it. Definitely could feed a party of 3-4 people. My husband had some as well and said they were incredible. All the waitstaff was pleasant and made sure our drinks never ran out. We were in and out in no time and will come back next time weâre in Rehoboth.

I wish I had taken a picture of the pizza but by the time I thought of it I was sitting beside an empty box. We had a late night pie with sausage and it was DELICIOUS. Believe me, we eat a lot of pizza and pleasing 5 people isnât easy but Mama Mariaâs delivers*. *please note, I donât know if they deliver - we had take-out
