We visit family in Dayton every year and this is our favorite restaurant. We never have a complaint and the food is delicious. My boyfriend and brother ALWAYS get their Baked Manicotti. Can't find the dish that compares in taste up here in Michigan. Other's is too dry or the noodles are too hard and not enough cheese. Anyways, we love coming here and are never disappointed.

Iâm not gonna lie... weâve been here five times in the last four weeks! That in itself should be all you need to know. 1st Ave Pizza is a bit different than anything Iâve ever seen in a pizza setting. Picture an assembly line, similar to Subway, except for pizza. First, you pick your crust. They take the dough and press it out perfectly. Then you choose your sauce and cheese. On down the assembly line for your meat selection(s). Finally, you choose your veggies and anything else you can add. Price for your pizza is based on 1, 2, or 3 toppings or go all out with the make your own (4+ toppings). Your pizza is then thrown into the brick oven. It comes out in under ten minutes and itâs game time! The Cajun cheese bread is a great addition to your meal. Once youâre done, you can enjoy a few different desserts, whether itâs cannolis or local doughnuts. They also have a rather large selection of books for purchase. This would be a perfect date night, or call ahead and take a pizza home for dinner!

On the spot pick up pizzas or you can call ahead or order once there and get specialty pizzas for a bit more. Not bad when hot.

You would think that being a chain they should all taste the same....uhh, no. This place has awufl customer service and they don't know how to cook a pizza. The crust was not cooked all the way through. It was raw dough, of course did not know this until I got home. Manager was yelling at the staff and ignoring patrons. Not a pleasant place to be, will not order from there again.
