We were driving through Danville, Indiana and planned to stop at Bread and Basket. But since they were only serving a Brunch Buffet, we decided to try some place different. While walking around the square, we decided to give this restaurant a try. Wow! We were very impressed with the food, service, and the price. My two kids loved their spaghetti and meatballs. My wife had an awesome Caesar salad with chicken and I had a Stromboli. Everyone’s food tasted great and our waitress was extremely nice and did a great job serving us. We will now add this restaurant to our go-to place whenever we come to the Farmers Market on Saturdays or whenever we come back to Danville.

We stopped here for dinner on our way to the airport. Food was good, not great. I had pasta. Fresh salad bar which is nice. They also have a make your own sundae bar which was kind of fun. I would probably stop here again if driving that way, but wouldn't make a special trip.

We were shopping near Danville so we decided to stop here for dinner, just to try something different. It was fairly early for dinner, between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm, and there were only a few other customers dining at that time. The décor here is very dated and unappealing. The first thing we noticed was the fact that there were a couple of elementary school-aged children chasing each other around and laughing and screaming. They appeared to be the children of the waitress. They should have put up a sign on the door that read, “Customers Not Welcome Here!” We were seated and started looking at the menus, but these children were still running around and loudly shouting and yelling. My wife looked at me and said, “Let’s get carry out instead and eat it at home.” During the short time what we were there, the kitchen staff continually dropped stacks of metal trays on the floor, creating a horribly annoying loud noise. The pizza was good, but we certainly made the right choice by not eating it there!
