Reviews on Pizza food in Courmayeur, Valle d'Aosta, Italy. Courmayeur is a town and comune in northern Italy, in the autonomous region of Aosta Valley. At an elevation of 1,224 m (4,016 ft) above sea level, it is located at the foot of the southern side of Mont Blanc, at 4,810 m (15,781 ft) the highest point in the Alps and western Europe (see Seven Summits), and is crossed by the Dora Baltea river. Courmayeur shares administration of Mont Blanc with its neighboring commune of Saint-Gervais-les-Bains in France, and is consequently able to claim the title of highest commune in Italy. Courmayeur also shares access to the glacial ski run of the Vallée Blanche with another French town, Chamonix, which sits at the opposite, northern, side of the Mont Blanc massif.

Typical Italian style restaurant with traditional dishes and pizzas, unfortunately not up to the usual standard of well run, busy, vibrant Italians restaurants, servicing good food.Service was slow, food was OK but not good value, owner was more interested in serving locals than tourists.

Local and Italian Cuisine - Traditionnal italian pizza cooked in wood-burning oven - Local Pastry : The Martine's frittelle - Brasserie-pizzeria ambiance - Funny Place - Budget restaurant in Courmayeur
We stopped to have a pizza there, hoping the queue to cross the Monte Bianco tunnel would get down to something reasonable (it was 3 hours long). Not only we were nicely welcomed by a perfectly good English speaking son of the owner, but he helped us also monitoring the situation, and eventually suggested it would not get better before very late (which happened to be correct - we ended staying in a nearby hotel). The salads and the pizze were both good, as was the white wine (by the glass) we got. So it's a nice stop ahead of the tunnel.
Pizzeria located in Chamonix Sud, close to the Aiguille du Midi cable car. Our following is a local clientele, who are fans of neapolitan pizza. We are proud to offer quality products at a fair price. We also serve delicious organic desserts and drinks! C
Loved this place - thoughtful, sustainable ingredients, bio drinks, no plastic and vegan options. We found it on Google and wanted to show our support for their thoughtful approach. Not in the middle of the tourist area (which we liked) and nice little place to sit. Good range of pizzas all at the same price point as the other places in town - definitely worth a visit.

Small and very busy at weekends (best book if you do not want to be disappointed) the ambiance is wonderful, the service good and friendly, the food delicious and the portions enormous. For an expensive town to eat in the prices are not too bad either. Th
Tried to get in without a reservation. No luck, the place was packed. They said to come back in 30 minutes. Luckily we did. What a brilliant place. Good atmosphere, friendly staff and the pizzas... my god... the pizzas. All four of us ate different pizzas and they were all excellent. Mine was one of, if not the best pizza I've ever had. So good. This place was packed even in the summer (off season) and there was an actual line outside. AND the locals go there, so you know it's good. Do yourself a favour and go to this place.

The reviews are right. The food and atmosphere are really excellent. The food menu is immense - there must be every 'standard Italian restaurant' dish known available. And yet, everything was fresh and tasty. The tiramisu desert was stand out.The reviews are also right about the staff. Not charming or welcoming. But efficient and fine, like a Parisien brasserie. Just go with that expectation and enjoy everything else.Value is good. 2.5 courses, no wine, 4 bottles of water between 3 of us was under â¬100. Gluten free pasta was available for one of our party who requested it.The restaurant is visible from the main Mont Blanc tunnel road (although once inside the restaurant you are only aware of the mountains not the road). This is a great dinner/lunch stop for someone on this route. But it would also be a very charming, quite smart, dinner stop if staying in the area.

Tucked away down a narrow side street with a very quaint appealing entrance. Busy but efficiently run. Only a few tables and chairs. Delicious focaccia and plenty of other choices. Service friendly. A great place to grab a bite after a day's skiing. Definitely recommended.

The hotel recommended us this place for a pizza and we were not disappointed! It was one of the best pizza I ever ate (and I am half Italian so I know what Iâm talking about). Fresh ingredients, thin dough and delicious tomato sauce. Plus it was so big I had to ask for a doggy-bag to bring 1/3 of it home ! The staff was very nice and the atmosphere is cosy and friendly (noisy in a good way). The place is very simple. I recommend !!!

I had been for a week end in Courmayeur with friends. The moment could not be more perfect than it was. A lot of snow after a great snowfall. The village plenty of a romantic atmosphere. And when we needed to complete the day with a beautiful dinner, we've got here, "Allo Sciatore", where the meats are "SUPER" but any other foods as well.Enjoy !

The whole atmsphere is lovely here. Staff are cheerful and friendly, and food is great. We had pasta with wild boar ragu and gnocchi with rabbit ragu; both were delicicious and very filling. Prices are fair. Highly recommend.
