We got four dishes, and each and every one of them was way to salty for our taste. We saw that locals were eating in the nicely decorated place, but even though the Ragu was good, we decided we won't return because of the amount of salt in the food. We loved all the clocks though :)

Neapolitan bar, restaurant and pizzeria also gluten-free
The gluten free pizza in this restaurant is the best one we ever tasted (two celiacs that already tried a lot of pizza's in Italy)! There are a lot of options and they make the pizza's themselves in a totally clean kitchen. The staff is really kind and I would definitely return to this restaurant!! It is close to the fortezza which is a nice place to visit in Siena.

My wife & I arrived at our apartment in Siena late in the day & tried to eat at the osteria across the street/via from La Piccola Ciaccineria on Via dei Rossi but they were booked, so we needed to find something close by since it was almost dark. We turned around & there was this take-away pizzeria that seemed quiet busy. It was convenient to our apartment & we LOVE pizza, so we decided to give it a try. We liked it so much, we had it again on another evening. Inexpensive, nice sized slices & really good pizza.Thank you, we are a little typical one, handmade and our dough have 48hours of maturation, we appreciate your reviews, have a nice holiday in Italy. You are Welcome!

A very charming restaurant in Via dei Rossi in Siena, not too much far away from San Francesco and Madonna di Provenzano. I had brunch with family on Sunday morning. Very good salami and prosciutto , excellent tomatoes and fist-class pecorino di Pienza. Very recommended for lunch while visiting the historical and tangled Senese alleys.Guido Sala, Lecco.

Small and cozy pizzeria, tavern in the heart of Siena. You can taste, for lunch and dinner our pizzas and typical Tuscan dishes. In our tavern you do not pay your covered!
Went here at lunchtime - first thing is this is not a glitzy pizza restaurant but more an old fashioned Italian streetside ostereia. The staff were outstandingly pleasant and helpful and the surroundings convivial and typical Italian. The food (we shared a quatro staggione pizza and salad) was lovely - the pizza was the thin crust variety and cooked perfectly and ranked up with best I have had anywhere in Italy. The beer was cold and the service was excellent. In all a lovely place for lunch and we would happily visit again. Oh and the price - 23 euros for a pizza, salad and 2 large beers.

Friendly service with a pleasant athmosphere, in a typical rustical Italian Osteria, worthy of a visit if you want to taste the real Italian Cuisine, especially the Tuscan one. The chef takes extremely care of the menu choosing all the ingredients accordi
We ate at La Curveta three times during our five night stay in Siena. What a treat! This is a value priced restaurant with really good food and the service was excellent. Thanks, Sara, for making us feel so welcome.Hello Royce Ann W, thank you very much for your review.I do remember you and your husband, you are so nice and funny! We enjoyed having you as customers and look forward to see you again in the near future.A big hug from Sara. Hands down the best pizza we've ever had by a long shot. Seems like non- locals have a bit of trouble with the ordering process, some not realising they're delivery only. We managed to order a vege pizza and friareili and sausage pizza in broken Italian with help from Google translate (it wasn't too much trouble as the guy's English was miles better than our pathetic Italian). We devoured both sitting on our hotel bed and thought we'd gone straight to heaven. The distinctive flavour of the friareili and sourdough-like texture of the base was just sublime. On our last night in Siena we called again to place another order but this time unfortunately were advised they were busy until 10pm! Their service is definitely inconsistent but it's worth the effort if you can get to try it. It literally redefined the meaning of pizza for us.

This is a fun place with a great vibe, delicious pizza and good vino! My pizza was loaded with pancetta and my husband's with salami-there are also veggie options! The owners are friendly, it's a small hole in the wall but good spot to stop for a bite.
