EJ's on Main, located inside the Holiday Inn in downtown Concord, offers great Brick Oven Pizza and American Classics. Some of the staff's favorite menu items include Slow Braised Boneless Beef Short Ribs, Pan Roasted Stater Chicken Breast and Steak Tips
Somewhat of a throwback to the 60's when hotels had full service restaurants (and not a chain like TGI Friday's attached). Very quick service and value for price paid was as expected. Bar staff was very attentive to patrons needs without being intrusive.
So why did I go here?Well, I needed to pick up something in the strip mall, then having waited long enough to be distracted, I realized that I was hunger, and âwhy not try the nearby joint.I was not disappointed. It is a hidden gem. Better than average in everything.

We like to order Donatello's largest pizza, the Dominator for our large family. One pizza serves all of us, often with pizza left over. The subs are great, too. This is a family owned and operated pizzeria.

Quick Review...My wife and were in NYC last week end and dined at the famous Carmine's in the theater district. ..great experience in Italian Food and atmosphere that is in an 'icon 'status...fast forward a week later to Concord NH. We visited a well established Italian/ Pizza restaurant called Milano's. We were starved so we tried several items on the menu. A thought came to us in the middle of our dinner...'This can't be that good' but it was. It was the best Italian food were ever had.

This place was busy on a Saturday night! All the locals apparently dine here, with good reason. The food is fresh and tasty. The prices were average. We sampled the loaded pizza, it was good. The steak tip salad, it was your typical pizza place iceberg salad, with small, thin, over cooked pieces of beef, that had a good flavor however. The garlic bread with cheese, it was Excellent. And the clamp strip plate, with fries, it was good. Not greasy, and crisp. All in all not a bad place to stop and eat if you're passing thru town.

On a trip to Concord for shopping and dining, I went to Uno Pizzeria & Grill for dinner about 5:30 PM. The parking lot was pretty full. Inside, I was greeted promptly. Surprisingly, there was no waiting line. The hostess seated me in a booth right away. A few minutes later my waiter came by. I ordered my beverage and meal together. I took the Sirloin & Scallops dinner at $23.99. This dinner combo was a limited-time special. Iâd had the same meal at the Uno Pizzeria & Grill in Haverhill, MA three weeks earlier. It featured a 10 oz. USDA Choice top sirloin steak with a skewer of five grilled scallops. It came with two sides. On this trip, I took whole grain brown rice and broccoli. While waiting for my order, I had lemon ice water. My food arrived about 20 minutes later. The steak and scallops looked close to the way they did in the photo on the menu. My steak was thicker than the one in Haverhill. It was grilled to medium. The steak wasnât quite as tender and tasty as the one in Haverhill. It was still a good quality cut of beef. There was no fat or gristle; hence, there was no waste. The scallops were only lukewarm. I didnât think they were cooked thoroughly so I decided to take them home where I could finish cooking them and have them hot for lunch the next day. The rice was lightly seasoned and contained small pieces of cranberries. That side was very appetizing. The broccoli was cooked to tender crisp. There small wedge of focaccia was nice. Service was good. My table and the restroom were both clean.I rate this dining experience at Uno Pizzeria & Grill at 3.50. The food was good but not outstanding. I did notice that there were several families with younger children. Uno had a kid's meu with numerous offerings in the $4.49 to $5.49 range. I watched one boy who'd taken the Make Your Own Pizza meal. He laid out the peperoni just so atop the pizza. This location is good for travelers who want to do some shopping before and/or after their meals. The L.L. Bean Outlet is through the parking lot to a small shopping plaza right next door. Just across the road is the Fort Eddy Plaza which has several stores and some restaurants. The main attraction for me there was the Books-A-Million that had everything from books and magazines for all ages to toys, games, CDâs, and more. Also, only about 2 miles away is the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center where the whole family can learn about space, astronauts from NH â Christa McAuliffe and Alan Shepard, explore interactive exhibits, and perhaps see at least one planetarium show.If you found this review helpful, please click THANK below.

Noticed this place while stopped at a traffic light returning to my motel. I checked it out on TripAdvisor and decided to go. Good choice.New York style, with many topping varieties, I got the smallest (12") Vinnie's special, I could not eat half of it. They do not skimp on the toppings: this thing was loaded. It came out piping hot and I had to wait several minutes so it cooled enough that I could handle it.Wait time is about 25-minutes from when you order, but it's fresh made and tastes it.If I were local, I'd be here very often.

This place has the best pizza around! Very clean and friendly place. Parking is a bit difficult as there is only street parking on Main Street (there is a very small free parking lot next to the restaurant for customers, but it fills up fast as this place is so popular). Paid parking until 7 pm

My husband and I went to a late dinner on Friday night. We were immediately seated around 845 and our server was very attentive and made recommendations. I had the garden eggplant ravioli stuffed with eggplant garlic and red peppers with a delicious white cream wine sauce that wasnât too light and not too heavy, it was just right! My husband had a lemon cream sauce ziti dish which didnât last long! I had the house Pinot Grigio which was delicious as well! Each of our meals came with a salad or soup as well. It was a great meal and we will definitely be back to indulge again!

Sal's is not only my favorite pizza place, but my favorite of any place to eat in Concord. Their chicken, broccoli, Alfredo pizza is delicious! Also, the tomato, spinach, feta pizza is terrific and the chicken, bacon, ranch is yummy. Sal's has a large variety of interesting pizzas and on any given day, you can find many of them on display for you to grab a slice. Note that their slice is a quarter of a huge pizza. Most people will consider it two slices, and, in fact, they cut it that way for you. The service is always terrific. They have a core crew of people who are always very friendly and who get to know you if you're a regular customer. My partner and I tried every pizza place in Concord a few years ago and Sal's was definitely the best.
