Cómpeta is a town and municipality in the comarca of Axarquía, and province of Málaga, part of the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain. The municipality is situated approximately 18 kilometres from the coast (Costa del Sol), and 52 kilometres from Málaga, the provincial capital. It is situated at 638 metres above sea level in the foothills of La Maroma (the highest peak of the Sierra Tejeda). The population is spread over the southern slopes of the Sierra de Almijara.

Our place is composed of about 90m2 is also composed of a large terace from which you can enjoy the best views. Is a family friendly restaurant. Prices are cheap and our products are fresh and quality. Organize events. English, Spanish and Danish speaking

Went to this restaurant wanting a little variation from Spanish food but were really disappointed with the Mexican food we ordered. The Nachos guacamole was very poor mostly Nachos and no guacamole and the Chilli Con-carne was very poor no chilli heat at all. Would not recommend this place for Mexican although can comment on the rest of the menu.

We really enjoyed eating at this small Italian in the centre of Frigiliana. The pizzas were all freshly made, tasty and good value, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back again and recommend it for simple, good value Italian food.

Great Table Service received from Lorena during our visit to Nueva Tahona. Would recommend the pizza named 'Gillian' - especially if you add pepperoni, roquefort cheese and some chilli oil - delicious thin based pizza with lots of flavour!Reasonably priced and Patricia (the Owner) always makes you feel very welcome!Highly Recommended!

A lovely bar with a municipal pool attached. Run by an English couple. Magnificent views and a great place to chill out. I visited this bar all the 3 days I stayed. Having enjoyed sampling many different restaurants in Andalucia, I thoroughly enjoyed Lindaâs full English breakfast on my last day.
