My wife and I have lived in Columbia for many years and have heard good things about Tony's from some of our friends but have never been. We were feeling hungry for some good casual eats last night and decided to give Tony's a try. Walking in, Tony's has that feel of a small town pizzeria with those same type of tables/booths, plates, plastic red cups, and delicious pizza (it reminds me of a Mazzio's or Godfather's pizza I used to go to as a kid). They had a TV with the Cardinals game on. The kitchen was right by the dining area and you could watch the employees prepare the pizza. All the employees were welcoming and friendly and the same family that started the business still runs it and cares for their patrons. There were a lot of families there and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. We love both pizza and greek food so we decided to order a gyro meal (which comes with a greek salad, gyro and french fries) and a gyro meat pizza. Both meals were delicious; however, I didn't really appreciate the strong flavor of the gyro meat in the pizza. I think this is because I generally associate gyros with either the fresh crispness of tzatziki sauce or with hummus, and while the pizza was good, it didn't have that characteristic gyro feel. I think in the future, I will order more traditional pizza toppings. The gyro meal itself had the tzatziki sauce and thus was more enjoyable. Our server was very friendly and available.Overall, we had a great time on our low-key date night and will be back again with our two small children (who love pizza!). We are excited to add Tony's to our list of local Columbia go-to restaurants!

Very friendly staff. Nice setting for lunch--rather informal. They hand make your salad or pizza--I had pizza. Despite the special attention, the pizza was ready quickly. I enjoyed it and I liked the idea of being able to make so many choices.

Family Owned and Operated Licensed and Insured In September 1961, pizza restaurants were scarce in Jefferson City. The City needed a family gathering place, and Arris Pardalos needed a welcoming home to introduce his pizza recipe. The pairing proved to be
My favorite pizza place in Columbia. They have a good selection of beer and wine as well as wonderful pizza. This time I had the Meat Lovers Gyro, new on the menu and it was great. Also the music playing was enjoyable. I could have sat in there all afternoon drinking and listening to the music.

We tried Steven's Cheese Pizza, Charredechoke pizza and the wabbit food pizza, with a side of garlic cheese baguette. They were all incredibly made, perfect crust and toppings. The awe factor was from the fresh and unique garnishes thay made all the difference. This is our new pizza place.

This is based on Gumby's proprietary delivery service which was FAST and the order was correct. We ordered by phone; two calzones (double pepperoni and xtra cheese and green pepper double mushroom) and cinnamon sticks. They were out of toasted ravioli due to freezer issues. The calzones were amazing in taste and presentation and the cinnamon sticks tasted absolutely decadent. We can hardly wait to try the pizza!

We used Trip Advisor for restaurant suggestions while passing through Columbia, Mo. Shakespeareâs Pizza was worth the drive off the beaten path. Louieâs salad was a unique, satisfying blend and the pizza had a great crust and fresh ingredients worthy of finger licking.

I went to Midiciâs several times in the first half of last year, but lost interest after a few uninspired experiences. After hearing that it had changed management recently, my wife and I gave it another chance this Friday. We are glad we did. We met friends there and all four of us really enjoyed our meals. My wife and I split a meatball calzone that was incredible. Great meat, sauce, and cheese in a flaky crust. Columbia has been sorely lacking a good calzone. For dessert I had a canole and she had gelato. Our friends were delighted with their pizzas. Finally, the service was quite prompt, personable, and attentive. Iâm also pleased that they changed the service model so that wait staff take your order from the table. Previously you had to go through a line without time to really consider all the options. There are lots of wine and beer options too. Great job on the transformation. We will definitely return!James - Thank you for giving us another chance and we're glad you enjoyed the changes. I look forward to meeting you in person during your next visit. See you soon!MidiCi

Stopped in for a salad and was not disappointed. The "Pear's on Fire" salad was great. The soup was forgettable. There are many iced teas and salad condiments available. Alcohol is served here as well.Salad was tasty, however prices are indeed a little on the high side.Staff was friendly and informative. I'll return again if in the area, and skip the soup.

Fun experience! Easy individual slices are available for a quick meal. The whole pizzas are deliciius. 2 things to look our for: a) Kids get a small amount of dough to play with b) check out the tp in the bathroom! Super nice people and quirky atmosphere.
