Cobourg (/'koːbə˞g/) is a town in the Canadian province of Ontario, located in Southern Ontario 95 kilometres (59 mi) east of Toronto and 62 kilometres (39 mi) east of Oshawa. It is the largest town in and seat of Northumberland County. Its nearest neighbour is Port Hope, 7 km (4 mi) to the west. It is located along Highway 401 (exits 472 and 474) and the former Highway 2 (now Northumberland County Road 2). To the south, Cobourg borders Lake Ontario. To the north, east and west, it is surrounded by Hamilton Township.

Ordered a medium pizza for lunch , I usually go to 241 pizza in Cobourg which I highly recommend , but today decided to try Papa Johns Pizza as I have had this in USA in various locations and extremely satisfying .....extremely disappointed ....it was like they were short on ingredients and had to make it through the day....skimpy with no taste is all I can say ! In todays competitive market I cant see this place surviving.

We've frequently gone to ESM and have been happy, however, at this location, I found that the portions are very small while the prices seem to have inflated. I realize this is a large chain so perhaps all locations have made these changes. It was disappointing.

What a disappointment. They should either get staff that can cook and know how to serve or take the franchise away. It is an embarrassment to the city and to the franchise. It would be the last time that I eat here or recommend anyone to the place. Mine was a simple order. I asked for a personal pan size margarita pizza, well done. I received instead this doughy mess of a thing. The server did not show his face after he dropped off my order. I had to go to the front counter to pay the bill. This was at 8.30 pm when the restaurant was empty. I hate to think what happens when they ever get busy.

For many years, living in Toronto, we frequently had delivery pizza from the local 241 franchise. Now residing in Cobourg, we thought we'd try the local branch. We ordered the same selection as always, and on thin crust. The food came exactly as requested, and in less than half-an-hour. The price for delivery pizzas seems to be high everywhere, so no real surprises.The only downside was the telephone operator, who sounded bored and unpleasant. No "please" or "thank you" from her. Tip to franchisee: you only get one chance to make a first impression !

We ordered 3 specialty pizzas and a gluten free one. My wife stated that this was the best GF pizza she has had. She tried GF pizza from around 6 local pizza places and Dominos was the best. Online ordering was quick and easy. We really enjoyed all the pizza we tried. The 50% off promotion was awesome as well. Very happy with our dining experience.

Only thing about this pizza place is you rarely have to wait for your food. A small variety of premade pizzas advertised as "hot and ready" and they generally are. Prices are another reason people come here - probably the cheapest pizzas in town. But you get what you pay for...dried out toppings, scantily spread around a bland sauce. Good thing it's inexpensive!

This is by far my favourite pizza in Cobourg for take out. It doesn't taste as though it came off of a conveyor belt nor does it have a greasy crust. It is perfect every time with an excellent variety of toppings and they always have walk in specials.

My wife, daughter and I went here tonight. We have been in the past and enjoy the restaurant.Today was a different experience.We arrived knowing what we wanted ahead of time.Upon ordering drinks, we also ordered our mains and an appetizer.The side salad arrived, however no drinks.After finishing the salad and still no drinks we decided to leave.Went to front desk, spoke with the manager and offered to pay for the salad so we could get out.Manager said not to worry about it and we could leave.As we were walking to the parking lot, our server came through the emergency exit stating that our food was ready.As we had waited close to 40 minutes for water, iced tea and a lemonade, we had no faith in the actual order!Now sitting with drinks at Castle Johns!!Hi, Andrew. No matter what country we live in, when we visit our holiday cottage near Cobourg, ON Canada, we must visit Jimâs Pizza. Our familyâs absolute favorite Pizza!!I first visited this Jimâs when the original owners opened it it the early 70s, and have enjoyed their pizzaâs ever since. The nice current Greek couple owners (15yrs+) are also like family to us, always taking the time to catch up and chat.All the components are made on-site, the ingredients fresh, and their dough and home-made sauce are amazing.A treat for us whenever we are in the area.
