ASK Italian in Ashby De La Zouch is a place for great food and warm service. Think fresh bread made to tear and share. A glass of fine wine worth deserving of your time. Delicious main dishes prepared the traditional way. Everything we know and love about
I work for a local Solicitors Firm and have organised lunches through Ask Italian's restaurant in Ashby multiple times now as I just cannot fault them. Jack, The Manager, and his team are extremely attentive and give outstanding service every time! Our parties range from 20-30 people, yet we still receive our 'cooked to perfection' meals and yummy drinks without delay - my team do nothing but rave about ASK and demand they host us at every opportunity. I strongly advise everyone to visit this restaurant as Jack does as much as he can to make sure you have a thoroughly enjoyable time.

called in here on a friday night for a few drinks with friends.always have a good guest beer on tap, good conversation at the bar, took some of their chilli and chips home for dinner, a good night had by all.
Used for the first time, a little apprehensive given a few poor reviews we'd seen on Eat.co.uk. Placed an order including 2 large Pizza's and when we got home found one of them to be the wrong one. Good value overall, being buy one get one free if collected, but it would have been nice to have received what we actually ordered.

We visited as quite a large group (12) for dinner. They weren't quite ready for us when we arrived so we had to wait, however there is quite a charming courtyard outside where we were able to get a drink. We were seated quite quickly. The menus reminded me more of a café than a restaurant in their feel but seemed to have something for everyone. I went for pizza which was ok but my colleagues dinners looked nicer. The staff were very good and looked after us well. All in all it was ok.

Went for the first time for our wedding anniversary on August 8th. Was very impressed by the menu and ambience of the restaurant part of the pub. Sometimes, pubs try to do restaurant style food with matching prices, but the chef here can really pull it out of the bag. There were no disappointments! We had the goat's cheese & beetroot and tempura king prawns starters followed by the lamp rump & monkfish curry for mains. We shared a pineapple and banana pud. Every mouthful was utterly delicious, especially the monkfish. Service was excellent too: nothing was too much trouble. My parents went after I raved about it and they agreed with me! We are off for a return visit on Saturday with some friends. Ensure that you book as it does get busy.

I love the Mushroom Madras that they make at the Kashmir... Boiled rice & plain naan to go with it. And there's enough for me to make two meals out of it. It's one of those dishes where I NEVER think to myself 'Oh, I wish I ordered meat'. Don't dis it, until you've tried it!
