Was killing some time before meeting up with some colleagues, so I decided to stop at the mall, walk around and have an early lunch at Shakey's. The lunch buffet was $8 and some change, so decided to give it a try. The pizza's that were out were plentiful, and looked fresh. I was in the mood for Mojo's, so I wasn't disappointed. The salad bar (the place just opened at 11, and I walked in 15 minutes after), lettuces didn't look so good, we're a bit wilted and not very fresh or appealing), so I skipped on that, and played it safe with the potato salad. I made a second trip for pizza and they had mostly the ham/pineapple out for choosing, so I was a bit disappointed in not having a better selection as the first go around. So, round 2 for Mojo's. The price I paid for 2 pieces of pizza, a ton of Mojo's, a little potato salad and no green lettuce salad (missing out on the toppings), didn't seem like a good deal to me. Next time, I will just order Mojo's to go, and save some money...

We went to CPK(California Pizza Kitchen) for a birthday celebration. They served pizzas, salads and pastas. I tried the garlic chicken pizza and the morrocan salad. They were very good. Not a vegetarian, I tried the vegetarian pizza and it was good, also. Place that you will enjoy.
In the previous home of an excellent Argentinian Grill (Tango Grill), Italgo Pasta Bar offers the equivalent caliber of Italian food. The interior is attractive, Mediterranean, and casual. The meat (pepperoni, sausage, and bacon with cheese) style pizza was very tasty, with each component projecting its own special flavor. The crust was a light, thin affair with a very fresh taste. A pizza that stands out from the crowd of good pies. The Mac and Cheese entree had crab meat, fontina, mozzarella, goat cheese, and parmigiana. It had a rich and flavorful cream sauce over tender pasta. There was enough to take 1/2 home. For a $2.00 up-charge we were provided a superb and non-traditional garlic bread. It had the form of a small, flattened 6" to 8" round loaf and had been baked in the pizza oven. It was a wonderful treat!Dessert was a house-made Crème brûlée with a sliced strawberry on top. Unfortunately, it was nothing special. Slightly overdone caramel crust over an average custard base--no richness as is expected with house-made.Service was friendly, knowledgeable, but inattentive. There was only one other table during most of our visit, yet very little attention was paid to either table. The sole server spent most of the time in the back. Note: Soft drinks are served in the can with a glass and ice on the side. So, no refills.

Family Italian Restaurant Providing Dining, Full Bar, Banquet Halls, Catering, Take-Out, Delivery, Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Service Since 1955. Enjoy La Bella Cafe & Games Next Door & Dine Late Every-night
We had a great meal of pizza, antipasto salad, and fried cheese ravioli. Pretty good beer selection and the waitress was very efficient and attentive. It is a popular restaurant and seemed to also have a busy takeout counter. Our experience would have been more pleasant if the decor was updated, the vinyl on many chairs and booths was ripped and dark kind of dingy interior.

We'd been by the shopping plaza a bunch of times but never paid attention to what else was in there. We took a chance on D'Lish and WOW! The food is excellent. They're homemade bread you will devour like you're a death row inmate eating your last meal!. (The bread is not unlimited but if you sweet talk your waitress, they have been know to bring out an extra basket.) I've had the lasagna, the diablo chicken angel hair pasta, and the meatzilla pizza. All were top notch.

Hands down I would recommend the Antipasto Salad, and beware the large is HUGE! They do a great job not only with that but with the pizza. The crust is nice and chewy and very cheesy... The service was good, but nothing that would blow your shoes off.The only complaint would be the prices, it adds up real quick with just salad and pizza!

Project Pie is the culmination of our pursuit to design and serve great pizza. We call it Artisan Pizza. It all starts with our scratch made dough freshly prepared every day in our restaurants. It continues with our signature tomato sauce made in house wi
Well-trained and friendly employees were a welcome change from the normal chain restaurant. The key to a well-built pizza is to choose the make-your-own selection and ask for the toppings AND amount(s) you want. Double or triple of a topping? No problem if you ask.

This cozy shopping center eatery offers Neapolitan pizzas, wine & salads, plus outdoor seating.
I've eaten here 4 times in the last 3 weeks. Each time I've had a different waiter. Every one of them plus the other staff have been very friendly, helpful and provided outstanding service. We're pleasantly greeted upon arrival. We've had 4 different Pizzas, the basic small salad (enough for 2) and the lasagna. Everything was simply delicious. Prices are reasonable; food quality excellent; service is outstanding. You get a nice view of downtown SD and Point Loma from some of the indoor seating. Excellent craft beer options. Another plus is the military discount. This is out go to place now.
