Small pleasant trattoria in city centre. Up a small flight of steps and you are immediately welcomed by very cheerful staff. Fairly standard menu but the service is prompt the food well cooked and tasty.

I went to La Cascata with a table of 13 and we all brought back home a positive experience. The restaurant is located near a real waterfall by a quite mountain village not hard to reach if you have a GPS or a fair familiarity with the area.Other than the hosts courtesy and the affordable prices, the cuisine is the main reason that make this place so well-known, and the meat rules the roost!Delicious beef cuts perfectly grilled served on burning stone tries, easy to share if you are a copious table. It is served rare to medium but any guest can give it an extra blaze on the spot. Seven or so different kind of salt are served on each one plate for flavor customization. Angus from Scotland, Australia, Argentina and other provenience along with other yummy meats is explained by the server and distinguished by a flag so you don't make confusion when you taste it.On top of that (which is already a lot) perfectly cooked pizzas, fresh traditional cold cuts and Primi than we believe are well-done too (but we skip under suggestion of the host to better appreciate the meat!).I will be back for sure!

Very basic food, not many options. Expecting more only Italian food pizza & u have only 1 hour to finish u dinner since there is another booking waiting at the door. We order another pizza and the waitress told us that we have to leave in 30 minutes

Okay, so I'll admit that the reason why I chose this place is because of the name (too cute), but after reading the website's menu and reading reviewer's opinions, I was more than convinced that we should try this place out. What a satisfactory experience. From the lightly smoked carpaccio with bitto cheese and porcini (chef's suggestion) to the cheese-filled yet light and airy sciatt (fried buckwheat and cheese morsels with a crisp-crunchy exterior), our expectations were more than met. Try the zigonia which is thin, cooked slices of pancetta and beef rolled around a thick wooden skewer and displayed on an unusual boat-like holder. We weren't sure how to eat it so just picked it up like how you do with corn-on-the-cob. Delicious!Polite and efficient service from as soon as we entered the restaurant. The menu also lists a wine by the same name - Lo Scoiattolo - and we felt that it was good value for the money spent. Little dogs allowed in the restaurant, plus they also have excellent gelato in the bar area.

This small pizzeria is located in the town of Caspoggio. It serves great pizza, and the service is really good. Offers take away.

We stopped here for lunch and weren't really expecting much as it's a pizzeria but we were pleasantly surprised. Service was friendly and efficient. The menu isn't very big which is usually a good thing, we had a wonderful beef tartar and melt in the mouth venison. We are going to make a point of returning here just for this restaurant.

This is just down the road from where we stay in Chiesa (for many weeks each year) - it is our second home! The pizza is fantastic - the number of locals that appear here every night is a pretty good indication of how good it is! Pizza great, service great, everything great - and a great price too! Highly recommended.
Where to eat Italian food in Chiesa In Valmalenco: The Best Restaurants and Bars

It was a bit difficult to find this place, distant from main attraction of the touristic village of Chiesa.Dining rooms were nicely decorated (much better than the very rustic terrace). service was gentle and professional with a touch of personal simpathy. This restaurant is family run by a local signora and two sons, one in the kitchen and one on duty at service. We followed the waiter reccomandations and we had "un po' de tutt" as large yummy starter, fanatastic pasta with deer, a very interesting strudel with apples and local cut bresaola and delicious sauce as main course. An express dessert, millefoglie pastry with chantilly cream, and icecream drunk in coffee concluded our splendid lunch. We have drunk a very nice bottle of bonarda. we do hope to return to this friendly restaurant.
