Great thin crust, fresh toppings and spices perfectly cooked in brick oven! would definitely go back! Large pizza was a little small for 2 hungry people though. Would also be great if they offered local delivery, it would help to separate them from other pizza shops in town

I have gotten a decent meal there and it doesn't break the bank. it's not consistent sometimes I get something really good and sometimes it's just ok

The owners are great! I'm sure they'd be disappointed to know that the guy who does the cooking (not the owner) is ruining their business. Time after time I order a simple philly cheese in a wrap and its always so disappointing when someone other than the owners make it. Its a shame. If I wasn't back to work I would have brought it back. Again - the chicken is dry - and there is barely any cheese and it certainly cannot be called a philly chicken! Besides - it was cold! I'm so aggravated. Have even gotten a small pizza to go and its never cooked enough like dough. This never happens when the owners cook. But the kid/guy (not the owner) who does the cooking is killing your business for to-go orders! Its a shame.

He have made it our habit to have dinner here before we attend the musical at Goodspeed. Service is always quick and the wait staff is very accommodating about our time and with splitting the check. Tonightâs dinner was a bit different . The menu has changed, some of us think for the better but 2were disappointed that the club sandwiches have been removed from the menu. Over all I think the menu looks good. We had a variety of meals from wraps and sandwiches to pizza, all very good and very filling. We enjoy the atmosphere and the bartender makes a very good martini!Thank you. We will be back! And we are looking forward to it !

This has been our favorite place to eat before or after a show at the Goodspeed Opera House for many years. The service is always friendly and efficient, and with recent renovations, it's roomier and less noisy. The menu is varied and delicious. I usually order one of the pasta dishes, but my husband loves their prime rib (served only on weekends). Salads are enormous, so we always split a Caesar.

Deep River offers decent Greek Style Pizza for takeout. It isn't Pepe's, Sal's or Modern Pizza of New Haven, but it holds its own among its category. It has consistently increased in cost over the years and suffered proportionately in terms of value, but that may actually have more to do with fiat currency, sock puppet politicians in Hartford, and the real cost of inflation rather than anything the owners are doing. Overall, good pizza. You won't be disappointed.

Da Vinci fits a need in every sane person's life, that being the need for decent pizza. I'm not a fan of New Haven-style pizza, but certain members of the family insist that Da Vinci is the only place to go for pizza in the area. Based on my attempts to find alternatives, I believe they're right. Da Vinci is consistent in its quality and they have never gotten an order incorrect. It is not greasy, but the cheese isn't a knock-out. I find the crust to be too hard. The sauce is good, not great sauce. They do sell local soda (Foxon Park!), so that is a plus.

Put simply, Dough on Main, offered good food, but we have now retired! Thank you to all who stopped in â whether only once, from time-to-time or once a day! We enjoyed 7 wonderful years delighting you!
Dough on Main was recommended to me by someone who is probably the most hyper-critical restaurant goer I have ever met. I trust her judgment and she eats here regularly. Well, she was right. The eggplant sandwich with pesto was delicious and substantial. I almost couldn't finish it, but it was so good, I couldn't stop. I will definitely be back to try the other sandwiches and homemade pastas. The place is small and has a homey vibe. There's one small table in the window (there are steps) and a larger dining table next to the coolers. Prices are on the high side for Connecticut (average or below-average for New York City), but totally worth what you are paying in terms of quality and freshness. I'm sold.Thank you for your great review. We are pleased that a savvy friend and regular customer enticed you to give us a try and that you were pleased. Your reaction to our food is one we continually strive for. Again, thanks! And we do hope you can visit again soon.

Just finished a plain cheese pizza from Moravelas and it was delicious. The crust is thin, the sauce and cheese are great--this is clearly better than most of the pizza available around here.

We visited Ottoâs after visiting a couple of galleries in Chester on a sunny but cold Saturday. It has a creative pizza menu and is accommodating to changes if needed. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, giving very good service. Would recommend for a quick, easy and flavorful lunch.
