Things to do in Charlton
This operation is excellent. I am a frequent customer.Although all menu items will make for smiles, my favorites are the chicken caesar calad, the potato skin pizza, and the meatball and sausage sub. Close after that is the steak and cheese.

I was visiting the area from out of town and asked the hotel front desk (Holiday Inn Express in Auburn) for a good pizza suggestion. P&D's was the employee's number one choice. My friend and I, however, went first with a different choice because we really wanted it delivered and we were told P&D's didn't deliver (I don't know if they don't deliver at all or if we were out of their range). The first place we ordered, however, were rude on the phone and difficult to understand. Then we came across their reviews on Yelp and they were horrid. After being told it would take 40 more minutes to get our pizza, we cancelled our order there and called P&D's for pick-up. They took our custom order (pepperoni on all of it and most of their veggie choices on half) with friendliness and told us it would take 30 minutes. We drove down there early because we were so starving by then and we thought we'd sit inside and drink a soda or something while we waited. It took us only ten minutes to get there and our pizza was just about to come out of the oven when we arrived. How convenient! I also loved that they had lots of vegetables and meats to choose from for pizzas. You can custom order or pick from options they've created and named. Our one 16

We were SO hungry and knew we'd be doing some post-nuptials imbibing so it was essential to get some food into our stomachs (long car trip) before watching two wonderful people get hitched. So we called Enrico's (recommended at the front desk) and ordered a pie (only one size is served; large) and ordered our pie with extra cheese, green pepper, and pepperoni. Five minutes later, in the hotel, we agreed to have one slice each MAX; we didn't want to spoil our appetite. Two-and-a-half slices EACH later, we agreed that the PIZZA WAS SO GOOD, as if it was the pizza's fault that we exhibited such a total lack of self-control. Well, it was the pizza's fault, and the next time we're in the area we're going to stop at Enrico's and give those pizzas a piece of our mind. Via our mouths. Then our stomachs. Then our... but we don't want to go there! YUMMERS!

When I go to Southbridge on business I make it a point to stop in this place. The food and service is always the same. Awesome. I have had both the pizza and subs and salads. All is great. You can't go wrong. If you want great pie, go here. They'll take care of you.

Yes I realize this is on the Interstate at a 'Tank & Tummy' style rest stop area...but jeez...come on now can you perhaps make the pizza FRESH? The dough was sooooooo sticky & gummy it was impossible to chew!

They delivered to the Oxbow Marina, pretty good pizza too. Price is fair, service was very friendly.
Charlton pizza is the best around. Very nice soft crust, great red sauce and good (not too greasy) cheese. They deliver. We prefer their pie over any others in the area.
I find it hard to believe we've lived in the next town for over 30 years and this was our first trip to this casual restaurant. It won't be our last. Delicious food, huge grinders, pleasant staff and comparable prices. They offer take out, delivery, or eat in options. The low ceilinged dining area ( max seating of 30) has stucco walls, black wrought iron look fixtures and chairs, great curtains, and a rug to match. It's the feel of an oasis beneath the peppermint striped overhang exterior. Lots of menu options left to try - we'll definitely repeat this adventure.
