Bun by a good ol boy. Good pizza and service. Decent prices. Not sure about delivery as we ate lunch there. We would go back again.
So we heard about the ne little Italian restaurant that opened up in Cedaredge, Colorado so we decided, after our incredible Crag Crest hike, to stop by and check it out. We parked directly in front of this tiny establishment and were immediately seduced by the wonderful aroma of garlic, oregano and savory meats cooking. We were greeted by Annie and she proceeded to tell us about their restaurant and the incredible homemade dishes they are serving. The husband, aka chef, came out to greet us and explained how everything he prepares is "Kosher" and that his "Pie" was a New York style. He further explained that his mozzarella cheese is specially blended so that other flavorful cheese tastes accent his creations. My wife and I had an delicious "slice of pizza and a side salad" for a whopping $15.00 total. This also included a soft drink beverage. The salads were fresh and flavorful and the slice of pizza was about as large as a small pizza. All in all a great lunch at a great value. The menu is lengthy with all the favorite recipes handed down by his mother. Stop there when you are up on the Grand Mesa. You won't be disappointed.
Go anywhere else this pizza couldn't get better even if they tried. The pizza I got was dry as if it were from last week and then reheated for my order. Also it had no flavor and the cheese was so old it looked like it had been under a heat lamp all day, then thrown into a box and sold to me @ full price. The gluten free pizza was even worse. Go anywhere else but here, even gas station food would be better than this.
Bakeria (Bakery and Pizzeria) We have a wide variety of foods available to include; Pizza, Hamburgers, Burrito (smothered and breakfast), Sandwiches, Salads, pasta, baked potatoes, stromboli, wings and flavored meatballs. All our sausage is made in house,
This place does 3 meals a day and does them well. The bakery section is maybe the best of their offerings; with their croissants being perfect. Often imitated, croissants need to be flaky, buttery and delicious and the ones at J&S are all of this. Chocolate croissants are especially good. During a recent trip, we had the opportunity to sample fresh peach pie and pizza as well. Both were very good. The people who served us were pleasant, friendly and upbeat. I look forward to going here again so I can sample more of their menu. We did all take out but there is plenty of seating inside the next room. Plenty of parking outside, just off northbound Rt 65.
