We had good pizza here and they had chairs for babys. Two important factors for us. Also: We came early with our two hungry small kids, and got our food really fast. Life savior!

We had a dinner here. Located in the side street, but just steps from main road. Bit limited parking, but manageable. We were there out of the main season. We had "catch of the day", which was grilled gilt-head bream and grilled beef strips as a main course. before that we ordered a plate of seafood starters to share between us. White house wine was very good. Price is moderate, Sardinia is in general not a cheap destination. Food quality with no objections, well presented on the plates. Service attentive and quite fast, only delay was after our request for bill, they were busy with other guests, so we had to wait longer than comfortable. Generally, we can recommend, good food for reasonable price. Location has no special features.

I looked at the ratings on here and they were very good, yet none in English - so thought I would give it a shot. The pizza was truly great, nice thin bases, tasty ingredients and washed down with Ichnusa non-filtrata (which by now you guys will know is the best beer in Sardinia - though not available everywhere). It is a place which is loved by the locals and although they speak negligible English they certainly made a good effort to accommodate us (they have limited seating on the street which necessitated a 5 min wait which was fine). We could have eaten inside, but it was 1) very warm due to the weather and 2) the fact that the pizzas are all cooked at the front it was a bit too hot for my liking. The interior of the place is a bit ordinary (white plastic tables and chairs) but it is clean. So in summary if you want great pizza where the locals go, this is a great place. If you want charm and tranquility- keep looking!

I can list only pluses. For my husband it was very important to have TV as itâs World Cup on. This place has it, outside. Sounds weird but in Sardinia there are not many cafes/pubs with TV. Food was delicious. I ordered grilled fish with salad and grilled veggies. Size of portion was impressive. Two huge plates! One with big piece of fish and plenty of salad, second was full of grilled vegetables. Pizza is good, very good, many different varieties. Prices are reasonable for such big portions. I would say low prices compared to other places. Plus free WiFi. Will be back again and again.Yes, definitely recommended

Excalibur is definitely the heart of Lu Bagnu. It is always the most popular and busy restaurant with good reason: the food is good and well-priced; the service is efficient but friendly and welcoming; it is a nice experience. We went several times as we were staying in the adjacent hotel and were never disappointed.

RESTAURANT Typical specialties made from fresh local fish, typical elements of the Sardinian tradition, verandas terraces with sea view characterize the Restaurant Il Fuco. ... on the seafront at Castelsardo.
Visited this coast road eatery in June 2018.Stopped off for a light lunch prior to walking the steep hill to the old town.We ordered grilled gambas and a mixed salad.Food was o.k.,the service excellent. We ate outside, but there is also a large airy room for those who wish to dine inside.

Second time for a lunch in Castelsardo center. Again very good. We took a mixed platter of antipasti di mare. We had the full platter for 16 Euro the first time. It was so abundant and good quality that we tried again this time but sligly lees so we could enjoy a great plate of linguine alle vongole afterwards. The service is very good. The wine of the house as well as the botted wine excellent. Great lunch in 2 for less than 50 euros. Excellent value!
