Dined here this evening with a reservation, we were seated outside which was ok. Service was slow and a tagliere to share took a long time too come but was good once we got it. Again pizzas took time to be served but were all excellent with quality produce. Did feel were forgotten sat outside and we were there over 2 hours. Excellent food, rather slow service but must say was worth the wait especially with the complimentary limoncello at the end of the meal. Thanks

This family run restaurant is located in a tiny square in the city center of Rosignano Marittimo, from which, in a matter of 15 minutes walking, you can reach the old castle at the top of the hill. Nice pictures from here and great digesting walk. If you are visiting around Christmas time, make sure to have this walk uphill because locals will celebrate the nativity of Jesus with an historical revival. Perfect choice to have dinner here and then enjoy the warm atmosphere. We had lunches and dinners here in many times of the year and for different occasions. If you're looking for a romantic dinner, Bar Volpe works great, as well as for special occasions or simply for an aperitivo (which is really abundant and tasty) or a dinner with friends. The staff is really friendly, energetic and welcoming. Let Valerio and the waiters suggest you some special dishes that might be available just for a short time. We tried many dishes and it's hard to chose our best. Pizza is really well made with tasty ingredients. Fish is absolutely delicious here, and meat is soft and properly cooked. Everything is homemade, especially with pastas and desserts you'll be greatly satisfied. If you are looking for something simple, they also have huge hamburger alternatives. Make sure you have enough space in your stomach before ordering it! It's our favorite restaurant in the area and it's highly appreciated by locals. IMPORTANT SUGGESTION: It's better to book in advance and during early hours, especially around dinner time. For example: 7pm-8pm is great. When the restaurant is fully packed, don't be surprised if you'll have to wait some extra time to be served. An early booking might help you to be the first to order, and then the first to be served. This is especially true when there are huge groups of people ordering, they might block the kitchen for a while. On the phone, you can also ask if they are expecting big numbers at a certain time, this might help you decide on when to eat. Enjoy your food here!

We just came back from this restaurant. We are a family of 3 with a 6-year old child. We were happy because the nice waitress gave us a table with room for four persons in front of the playground. Our son could play around while we could watch him from the table. While my husband and son were at the playground, I was waiting for the waitress so that I could order. Instead the waitress that I assume owns the place (because she was pushing her waiters around) could not speak a word of English, wanted to know if we had reservations. We did not but tried to tell her that we were given the table by the waitress. There was no reservation sign on the table. She wanted us to move to a table in the back so that other customers which seemed to be a friend of her could get our table. They were two, no kids. When my husband asked why we were removed she said because our new table was bigger and more suitable for us. It was a table for six and in the back and far from the playground. We noticed that she talked to her friends for about 10 minutes before we were removed. Obviously, her friends were more important. She was arrogant and tried to convince us that our new table was better. If we did not have our son with us we would have left the restaurant. The pizza filling was ok. The rest of the pizza was not. The other waitresses were nice. We will not come backAs a customer I do not want to be removed unless there is a very good reason. Friends are not a good reason.

A mom and dad place, both of them baking pizzas. And they taste just great! Nice thin crust, good toppings and lots of choices. Great price/performance.

Local typical Tuscan with large panoramic terrace
Whilst staying in a nearby Agriturismo we found this hidden little gem of a restaurant in Riparbella, we were seated outside on the terrace and had an excellent meal. Everything we eat was top quality especially the home made pasta. All at a very reasonable price.

To be honest the only minus here is that it is a small place. But it is great. To me, probably it is the best pizza in the area. And not only the pizza, all that is served is highly carefully selected so you can find all kind of ham and cheese and wines and beer!

I used this restaurant several times for Pasta, Fish, Seafood and Pizza. Pizza is good and grilled fish or other grilled item is a good choice. Pasta is average considering you are in Italy and you can have much better options in other places.Location is very nice. In that area this restaurant is the best option, if you do not want to travel to other city. Also good if you are in a hurry - they can make a pizza in less than 15 minutes (even 10 minutes if not crowded).

We ate here twice during a holiday in Tuscany. The first time there was a set menu at an excellent price which included local specialties such as pasta with wild boar sauce and rabbit. The second time we chose à la carte and thoroughly enjoyed very interesting dishes such as duck in a chocolate and pine nut sauce and steak with different original sauces. Good prices and excellent service. We sat outside as it was August, but the interior looks great.
