The antipasto and the piatto primo were brought out TOGETHER, AT THE SAME TIME! I've never seen anything like this. While eating the antipasto, the primo went cold. Stunning laziness. Also, the octopus was extemely bad. Octopus is tricky to cook. Only those who know how to cook this wonderful fish should offer it. Also, the local area is really infested with mosquitoes, yet this restaurant cannot be bothered to buy a zapper or to set up citronella torches. The client is always wrong in Italy. This attitude never ceases to stun me.On the positive side, the house wine is very good.

This small Family Restaurant is located just few meters away from the main pedestrian road in the touristic area of Termoli City center. The food is delicious and freshly cooked.Service is very friendly and customer oriented by making nice vegetarian combinationsThanks a lot goodbye as soon as possible

Very good the fish dishes, generous portions, fantastic white wine and great service too. We were served by the son of the owner whom was delightful! But if you are on a budget be careful to extra drinks like coke...they are a bit overpriced and will steep you final bill.

We ate at this unassuming pizzeria on our first night in the village. The sea side part of Vico Equense is small but perfectly formed. This is a local pizzeria which does decent fresh pasta, great pizza, steaks etc. Despite being a small village, the atmosphere was buzzing and in August you should definitely book to guarantee a place and a table outside. Simple food done well with a good atmosphere.
Super Pizza, dünner knuspriger Teig, frische Zutaten, alles Bestens.

I was there with a group of friends. We enjoyed the food and the fast service. The place is mainly famous for pizzas and all the rest on the menu is not great. Despite it was almost full, the service was pretty fast.

Our first night in Termoli our B&B had given us a few recommendations this was close and thought we would try it as we thought we might like pizza. It is not a large restaurant and now in hindsight I think I would book , we arrived and were first people there . You think this is not a good sign! It was only 8pm so still early , when we left every table was used.Interestingly after talking with the waiter we went with pasta and risotto salad and sides ....they have a daily blackboard of all the pasta and meat dishes and a menu is handed to you for all the pizzas. They did look good as they came out to other tables, but we did not make a mistake with our choice the gnocchetti and the risotto were lovely and with sides plenty for us.we were brilliantly looked after by our waitress lots of help discussing the menu and smooth efficient service. Well priced , great first impression of Termoli restaurants

It was a pleasure tonight for an "impactful" (key cover word when one's no longer wearing a younger man's clothes) birthday celebration to taste the varied range afforded by Termoli's Il Grottino Ristorante Pizzaria. Here the ratio of cost to value is quite strong. To begin, our table was introduced with a tasty house gifted lightly fried and slightly salted bruschetta cum basket of bread. We began officially with a liter of water, half of local tasty sfizzando white chardonney, single shared antipasto of four natural tastes of the sea combined with three similarly cooked. This was followed by my excellent and generous portion of tagliatelle nero sepia chock-a-block with baby clam vongole, the taste of which could off knock one's socks. My wife had a brilliant light gamberi/shrimp ravioli. (Aside: I rarely find ravioli well balanced, usually a mask for bland internal ingredients. This was that somewhat rarer happy exception). Our entree consisted of two halves on a single plate (allowed as it was a compleano/ aka aniverso di nato/happy birthday allowance) of skewered broiled pulpo and roasted gamberi. We had absolutely no room for dessert (despite touching no bread and oil) and the final cost was an excellent E 56 plus tip. The table next to ours consisted of three younger gents engaging wholesome looking individual pizzas and excellent beer. (Ageist comment forewarning: they may have talked and /or looked up at each other 5% of the time they sat, otherwise absorbed in their personal phone "research". Sad to see such antisocial "social media"patterns in both Italy and America, which empashizes the lately measurable lessening proximate contact between genders on both sides of the Atlantic.'Nuff said! On a lighter finishing note, it's easy to see how Il Grottino has earned its COE TA stripes. A solid relaxing recommendation! Thanks for the nice words, we were happy to welcome you and your wife for her birthday directly from New York
