A restaurant in a weird end of town (to me a travelling visitor at least), an underwhelming almost kitch facade, a small floor area that could do with another half the space again, and has had the same owner for umpteen (30 plus) years ..... equals the way an Italian food house should be. It is fabulous. After finding this little gem earlier in the year i have been back four times since and make it a must do destination for dinner, when staying in Burnie. Menu is great and diverse, wine list bats way above average and the quality and taste of the food is magnifico. The garlic pizza with Chilli as a starter and the steak Dianne being standouts on any Italian Menu. It has a great following, evidenced by the difficulty attempting to book a table, and for visitors and first timers, its a case of "do yourself a favour". Love it.

We are a 120 seat family restaurant with a huge menu that includes steak, pasta, pizza, chicken and seafood at very reasonable prices. Our full menu is also available for take-away. Bookings are recommended.
This hotel restaurant is located in a lovely old building in central Burnie. We selected it as on a Saturday afternoon it seemed reasonably quiet. Nice enough interior and also pleasan environmentt. The menu is pretty varied and a good drinks list. Reasonably quick to take our order and didn't take too long to receive our food. The pasta I had was ok- nothing special and I did have to add salt but hey I wasn't hungry afterwards and it was a good sized serve. My wife ordered a caesar salad that was disappointing- lots and lots of mayonaise over chopped up lettuce and no poached egg. Having said that Caesar salads vary enormously across restaurants and around the world!. All up this place was OK but nothing particularly memorable. If Trip Advisor had a category between average and very good I would have scored it at that.
