Absolutely flippin' fabulous pizza. Some of the best evs. What a perfect, wood-fired crust. And their shaved brussels sprouts and kale salad made a great foil for the rich pizzas. Bright lemon vinaigrette, toasty hazelnuts, and yummy pecorino shavings - MMMMM. I really feel that pizza needs zingy salad alongside to keep it all from feeling so hefty and this salad was perfect. If I lived near this place, I'd be hugely fat from all of the amazing food.

Iâve read some other reviews here and I think some expectation realignment is needed. If you think going to the Salty Pig will be a three star Michelin experience, go somewhere else. If, however, you are after surprisingly good food with simple preparation in a rustic Italian style, then the Pig is the place. I went on a late Thursday afternoon for lunch in August with my loud wheelchair bound son, daughter and wife. I knew the Pig was highly rated but had no idea what the menu was like. It is a very simple charcuterie, pizza and sandwich selection. While seeming very limited, I was still spoilt for choice. Between the four of us we ordered two charcuterie boards and one salty pig pizza (on the advice of our helpful waiter). It was almost a perfect selection - just slightly too much so I left a bit bloated as I refused to leave any! The pizza was a revelation. Thin crust Italian style and very tasty. The homemade terrine on the chefâs board was sumptuous, the rillette authentic and the bratwurst was clever. Good cheese pairings too. The micro brew IPA the waiter recommended was really good too. Price point was reasonable and we were in and out in under an hour. Our waiter was friendly, but it is fair to say the table staff are pretty matter-of-fact (eg whack the food down, blurt out a quick explanation, avoid eye-contact, and skidattle). We took it for what it was and really enjoyed it. Weâll be back.

Walking distance from our stay at The Verb Hotel. It wasn't too busy for a Saturday around 9pm. The service was good and quick. The slices were large and filling with fresh ingredients. If we are ever back in the Fenway area we shall be back for a slice.

Such an amazing neighbourhood place. Small and comfortable. The food is EXCELLENT. The cheeses were all delicious and the accompanying crackers were actually memorable. Excellent and diverse wine selection. The celery cesaer salad was amazing and the farro pasta was SO GOOD. Definitely worth a visit.

Very, very good (and creative) pizzas and very, very good (and diverse) ice cream. Hard to believe the chocolate sorbet is not ice cream - ridiculously creamy! The spaghetti with house made pasta wasnât bad either! Itâs no wonder they are so busy. Rachel, the owner, was very helpful to get us seated quickly.

This is a neighborhood place next to a playground where our three year old grandson likes to run around. We were here for dinner and enjoyed pizza, of course, Greek salad, wings, and meatballs. The beer selection was outstanding. It has a very relaxed ambiance and service was excellent.

Since 2009 when we opened our first slice shop on Congress Street in downtown Portland, we've been striving to elevate the pizza experience. It starts with the ingredients - high quality, local when possible - and the toppings - creative and comforting. M
service was good. Pizza by slice inferior to regular full pizza was good. Greek salad loaded with kale. What is it with kale? On a greek salad? Expensive for what you get but it's Boston. Thanks for the review! We appreciate the feedback and will pass it along to our operations and culinary teams! Hope to see you again soon!
