Reviews on Pizza food in Bristol, Pennsylvania, United States. Bristol is a borough in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, 23 miles (37 km) northeast of Center City Philadelphia, opposite Burlington, New Jersey on the Delaware River. Bristol was first incorporated in 1720. After 1834, the town became very important to the development of the American Industrial Revolution as the terminus city of the Delaware Canal providing greater Philadelphia with the days High Tech Anthracite fuels from the Lehigh Canal via Easton. The canal and a short trip on the Delaware also gave the town access to the mineral resources available in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York via each of the Morris Canal, the Delaware and Hudson Canal, and the Delaware and Raritan Canal, and connected the community to those markets and trade from New York City. These were among the factors spurring development of Bristol and nearby towns, explaining in part the industries which developed in the region.

They have great Pizzeria food and awesome Italian dishes. I ordered a large pizza with sausage and bacon. They made the pizza pie right in front of us. My 4 year old was excited. The pizza came out perfect and a nice crust. We are definitely regulars. The owners and staff are very personable.
We had takeout. A medium white pizza and medium plain. Staff is super friendly on the phone and in person. They are well organized. Surprisingly, the pizza had a relatively thin crust compared to most of the local pizza joints. The edges weren't very doughy so finishing a few slices was easy.Overall, pizza tasted great. Their sauce is mild and a bit sweet. Both pizza's were very good. Our plain pie came fresh out of the oven upon arrival so, some of the cheese slid off in transport. Happy to know Pizza Town is so close to home

Food is a very important part of the italian culture and varies greatly from region to region. While I have been heavily influenced by the cultures of Sicily, Arosso's menu is not limited. At Arosso we pride ourselves on our ability to make your every occ
It is HOT inside. Not quite as hot as it was outside today, Father's Day, 2018. We asked them to turn up the air conditioning, they did a little, but, I was sweating as I ate. I had Shrimp Scampi which was absolutely delicious. Had eaten there before and it was hot inside then. Don't expect anything fancy, ceiling tiles are warped and askew, there's an air duct hose just hanging there, it's an old building that could use some rehab inside. The wait staff was very good and friendly. No complaints other than the temperature. My dad enjoyed his meal, that's what's really important.

I really love dining in authentic Italian restaurants, & while a portion of our most recent meal was successful, most dishes fell short of expectations. We started with a shared plate of Bruschetta - tasty, but difficult to eat w/ the bread sliced very thin & toasted to melba toast crunch quality. Each bite resulted in wet tomato pieces cascading everywhere but the mouth. The salad was OK - but slightly over-dressed. My husband's Veal Saltimbocca was satisfactory, but he's had far better elsewhere. The penne pasta was very enjoyable - coated nicely in tasty red gravy. I ordered probably one of the single most requested dishes - Veal Parm - &, while the penne was nicely dressed in sauce, the meat portion of the meal came out looking anemic with industrial sliced mozzarella cheese topping the meat - & no colorful sauce to add flavor. I've never seen the dish offered that way before...perhaps someone in the kitchen forgot to give the dish a spoonful of red gravy. While the flavor was OK, the dish was dry. Cesare's would be so convenient for us - just wish it was better.

I finally got a chance to stop in and got an Italian Hoagie to go.It was absolutely amazing. The sharp provolone did the trick as didthe oil and vinegar. Excellent place to grab a bite. I will definitely be going back. The owner is a really nice man.Thank you for a wonderful hoagie and great service!

Stopped for lunch for some wood fired pizza. Staff was friendly and efficient. The decor has warm wood and brick,a kind of hip industrial vibe. We had the white mushroom pizza and it was delicious, so good on a cold January afternoon! Something about wood fired pizza, is extra special.
