Following a few beers the munchies kicked in and Brindisi was the choice for takeaway fish and chips. Absolutely terrific. Fish was freshly fried for us, batter was crispy, chips were great and the chippie brown sauce was smashing. One of the best fish and chips I've had.

Had booked a 2 night stay in Dunblane and found a deal for here on itison to use while we were in the area. The deal was a sharing cocktail and sharing platter for £18, it was amazing value- my husband and I struggled to finish the sharing platter. The cocktail we chose was so nice, and we stayed for another. We then went back the same evening for dinner and another few drinks. I had nachos which were huge!!! My husband had a hot dog which he really enjoyed. The only tiny annoying thing is we wanted to order another cocktail before we returned to the hotel for the night, however the waiter was busy chatting to a friend so we ended up paying and leaving earlier than planned. Previous to this his service was excellent though, I guess he was maybe fed up as the place was dead we were the only customers.

Really enjoyed Italia Nostra. Big portions, simple, no frills but in a good way. There were only two waiters who were rushed off their feet in a busy restaurant. We were not in a rush so no problem. They were very nice though! The dinner was exactly what we were looking for.

We enjoyed a very nice Italian dinner at this small restaurant in Doune. The Garlic Bread was delicious and was topped with sapphire. Our main courses of Ravioli with Boar, Prawns with Tagliatelle and Meatballs with Tagliatelle were all perfectly prepared. However, the server was new to the restaurant and needed more knowledge.Thank you for your kind words regarding your visit, Our staff are always working hard to improve and apologise if this effected your overall experience.

Ran into this restaurant by chance looking for a place to have lunch. It looked quite nice from the outside and the menu offered a big choice, so we stayed. As they are known for burgers (said a sign), we chose a different lamb burger each. The meat was excellent and also the combination of the ingredients, simply fantastic! The personnel was friendly but since it was meant to be an american restaurant, we did not find much scottish beer to taste.

Fabulous pizza & so accommodating - 8 guys dropped in, ordered 8 pizzas, 1 bottle of wine and 6 beer flights - everything was perfect, no mistakes. The Smokey Joe was possibly the best pizza outside of Rome, perfection on a plate, crispy base, just right amount of topping, well done BD..

Award Winning Neapolitan Pizzeria in the Heart of Stirling. People say: "I have been here many times and I am always welcomed with warm smiles and great hospitality. The pizza is wonderful, fresh and delicious. I could say more but I would never stop writ
We had pizzas there as a family. The pizza was soggy as the tomato sauce was too watery. They were not bad but not amazing. The service felt a bit unfriendly as if they would have preferred us not to be there. The restaurant feels more like a small takeaway with a few tables. No alcohol is served. No ice is available for drinks.

i love popping into Ciao for a coffee as it's wonderful and I love their Bruschetta with it. However I hadn't tried their food until yesterday. I had ordered a large Lasagne for a dinner with a group of friends. It was meant to feed 6 - 8 people but we had more than enough for 10 people! It was really good and everyone said it was the best they had tasted. What an easy way to feed guests - and it was really good value too.

We were visiting nearby Stirling Castle, and decided to have an early dinner on this great restaurant. The water was very friendly, and offered to make a small pizza for our ten year old.We chose from the early bird menu, and were very impressed with the quality of the food. The stuffed mushrooms, and Pene pasta with broccoli and Italian sausage was superb, and my wife enjoyed her bruschetta and carbonara too.Very reasonable and highly recommended
