Pizza and Pasta with Personality... And SO Much More! Now offering Gluten-Free pizza and pasta!
This is my second visit and both times I have been impressed with the food and service. The Chicken Bada Bing calzone was very delicious. I sat on the patio and my server didn't know I was here. I only waited maybe 5 minutes, but she comped my drink for the wait. I wouldn't have thought anything about it because it wasn't very long, but was so impressed that she proactively offered to make sure I was satisfied.Thank you for that review and nice rating, Carrie! That Chicken Bada Bing is a great choice for a calzone!Appreciate the shout out about the server, too.Hope to see you back again in the near future!

I have had the great misfortune to eat a number of types of pizza in Bloomington over the years. I would have to say that almost without exception these places follow the pizza as a pop tart error - the more sugar in the sauce, the better. Probably if you have a very young palate and have never had more than fast food or moms country cooking, this is a good idea. Otherwise, not so much...Cafe Pizzeria does not fall into this trap and as a Bloomingtonian who has Italian pizza in Italy, this is the ONLY reasonable facsimile in town. It seems to do some delivery business but is otherwise under appreciated. I suppose it has lasted 60 plus years so it should continue, and unless you really are hypo-glicaemiv, get your pizza here, please.

We visited Osteria Rago for a birthday celebration. It's a cozy, nicely decorated restaurant, located down a small side street. Our waiter was very friendly and served us quickly. We started with bruschetta, a traditional tomato based and a white bean, which were delicious After I asked a question about one entree, but ordered another, the wrong entree was delivered to our table. Our waiter was very apologetic and quickly submitted the correct order, and worked to make sure that didn't affect our experience. One of our group had the chicken Marsala, which was rich and tasty. Another in our group loved the Carbonara, which was so flavorful. The Tuscan salmon, served a little late, was incredible and worth the wait. The fresh pasta was tender and the white wine cream sauce was wonderful. The incorrect entree, shrimp Primavera, was a delicious addition to our table. We ended with the Orange Grand Marnier cake, which was subtly flavored, dense and topped with fresh whipped cream. Mistakes happen - it's the way a restaurant and the server react to it that makes a difference. We're looking forward to our next visit.

We made a reservation and were seated right away. So glad we did as there were people waiting. The hostess was very friendly and our server Kaylie very efficient even though it was so busy. Our food was good. We liked the spicy meatball appetizer and Gumbo Soup. My husband had the Jambalaya and loved it. The calamari was just ok, got cold quickly. I ordered a small pizza and liked it. We would definitely go back again when visiting my son in Bloomington.

We love this pizza restaurant. The food is dependably good as well as the service or you can get a tryout. They have unique ad different pizza toppings. The salads are also great. Our favorite is the Greek salad which is very generous. There are other Italian options on the emu as well as the pizza! Our favorite pizza is the BLT and it doesn't have red sauce it! They have a nice selection of beer and wine as well. There are tables that can well serve an entire family!! Delist!

Mother Bearâs Pizza was started in March 1973 by Ray McConn and Bruce Storm as an adjunct to their first business, Bearâs Place. People Magazine quickly selected Mother Bearâs as âone of Americaâs top nine pizzasâ and business literally doubled overnight.
After a long day we went to Mother Bears Pizza West side for dinner, called one of my grandaughters and she joined us. The pizza was very good as was the service, we enjoyed a nice evening eating pizza.

Having been here before we knew that a medium pizza pie would be more than enough for two peopleCorrect! We tried the daily special, the Destroyer, and it was just fine. We shared a salad which was large enough. Friendly server and the evening was fine.
