Went here last weekend, was absolutely amazing! We shared a pizza and some sides and we were so full afterwards! Freshly made pizza, we chose the cheeseburger pizza, wings, spicy sriracha slaw that was surprisingly good and not what we had expected, and some garlic bread. I wasnât too sure about the garlic bread, but everything else was delicious and we were so happy we stumbled on this place. Thank you! Hey!Thanks for your amazing review! Weâre buzzing to hear you enjoyed your food with us! Thatâs a winning combination of food right there! We are however sorry to hear you were unsure about our garlic bread!Weâre glad you guys stumbled upon our restaurant and had a great visit with us!See you again soon!Punks Out!!

Amalfi is set in One side of the Sun Inn pub. In Front Street in Newbottle. We serve a range of Pizza, Pasta, Chicken, Fish and steaks.
first time I have been to this restaurant and loved the interior. Drinks in the bar on arrival and then taken through into the restaurant. Excellent selection on the menu and on the specials board. We were all delighted with our choices and as I only ate half my main the staff were happy to box in up for me. We sat in the conservatory and it was a sunny evening so loved it. Friendly staff and plenty of seating but not too cramped. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Suggesting favourites on the specials menu and replenishing drinks when necessary. Will definitely return.
Ordered here for years, always happy good food, friendly staff, lots of choice of pizzaz and kebabs, open 7 days a week and great after a night out to call on way home .

Came here for an evening meal, and despite it looking nothing much from the outside, we were pleasantly surprised when we went upstairs to the restaurant. Service was excellent, friendly and helpful without being TOO attentive. Food was really good, and large portions, particularly for the price, and washed down with the delicious house white wine. I donât think Iâve ever had so many prawns on a Prawn Cocktail, or as much Mozzarella, beef tomatoes and avocado on a starter. The Chicken with Prawns was delicious, with a wonderful sauce, and my Carbonara was also very tasty. Our only major gripe was the loud âpopâ music playing...I love music, but this was intrusive, and with a full restaurant and some large, noisy parties, it was actually hard to hear each other talking at times...certainly not a quiet, relaxing meal! However, when the bill arrived, we couldnât believe what wonderful value for money it was...donât know how they can do it for the price. Not likely to be in the area again, but if I was, Iâd definitely go back here.

Visited here last week and it was honestly one of the best meals Iâve eaten in a long time. Food was absolutely faultless and beautifully cooked. The venue is clean and very well organised and the staff are wonderful. My partner and I were served by a young gentleman named Patrick and he made us feel so at home and gave us brilliant recommendations.Myself and my partner have already spoken about booking for a birthday coming up as thereâs something for everyone to enjoy. Weâll definitely be back before then, already craving some more of that slawHi Simonerowe! Thanks for taking the time to give us a glowing review and thanks for your kind words! I'll be sure to pass on your awesome feedback to Patrick and the Chefs!Look forward to seeing you for your birthday celebrationsLove The Porkys Team xx
Where to eat Middle Eastern food in Birtley: The Best Restaurants and Bars

We were passing through Chester le Street and saw this modest looking Italian restaurant handily situated opposite a car park so we thought we'd give it a go.We received a friendly welcome and were surprised to see so many dining as this was a Monday evening, not the most popular night for eating out.The next surprise was finding that, on weekdays, most of the pizzas and pasta dishes are half price. I ordered spaghetti Bolognese and my wife cannelloni. Both were excellent, the Bolognese especially good with a lovely rich sauce. We both followed with tiramisu which seemed to us to be home made, anyway it was delicious. Finally the coffee was a proper strong Italian brew, which was a relief after we'd had several disappointing coffees during our trip to the North East.In summary then, the food was excellent and the price unbelievably low. If we didn't live over 200 miles away we'd be regulars!Hi,Thank you very much for your review we look forward to seeing you again soon. Kind Regards Deanos Team

Ciao *hello* Our popular North East Italian chain of restaurants have been serving up pizza and pasta to customers in Gosforth and Washington since May 2016. San Lorenzo Washington is located within the family-friendly neighbourhood of Harraton, Washingto
Had an early bird dinner around six pm. Two or three course special, Monday night. We shared potato skins and then a pizza each, very nice, too much to eat so they boxed what was left to take home. Service was very good, pleasant all throughout our meal.My only disappointment was the desert, quite a few items off the menu, my only choice was Sticky Toffee pudding with ice cream, normally that would be fine but too full to have it this time, I asked for vanilla ice cream, which seemed to be a problem, they said, I could only have one scoop with a coffee, I didnât want the coffee but that was the only way it could be put through the till, I thought I might have been able to have maybe three scoops of plain ice cream. We have provisionally booked for New Years Eve but staff couldnât say what the menu or price would be. Maybe a little late, Christmas menus have been available for a while.Dear Ian A, We are pleased to hear how much you enjoyed our great value Presto menu and that the service was also up to scratch, the confusion over dessert appears to stem from the fact that we do not offer our full dessert menu as part of the Presto offer with the only options being the Sticky toffee pudding or our 'Dolcetti' - mini desserts with a coffee, hence the offer of a scoop of ice cream with coffee. In terms of New Years eve the details are of course on the same flyer as Christmas, due to popular demand we no longer offer a set menu in favour of our regular menu along with some 'special dishes' created by our head chef.Ciao Team San Lorenzo

Visiting family in the area, we went to Il Cancello on the back of very good TA reviews. The community was not wrong.I can not say this was the perfect meal, but I can say the service was first class, the restaurant set up very good, and we found the ambience to be fitting. All in all a very pleasing experience and we would definitely return. Previously known as "Italia Retro Restaurant at The Board Inn"
We have eaten at this restaurant on two occasions recently, and on both occasions the food has been excellent. Each time we have arrived about 5.30pm and although not particularly busy when we arrived, the restaurant soon filed up. On our second visit we decided that the earlybird meal was inviting, so my wife went for pate' as a starter and I chose potato skins. My wife then chose stroganoff and I went for the sirloin steak with a peppercorn sauce. We both agreed that both courses were delicious, and with 2 glasses of Rose' the bill came to £41.80.which we thought was very good value. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and ambience, particularly when busy, and the staff are both jovial, and efficient. We will definately eat at The Board Inn again.
