Sought this wee place out from positive TA reviews, so glad, the tapas plates are excellent, beef stew and lamb meatballs were amazing, staff are so friendly and up for a laugh, service top notch, outside street atmosphere everything you could ask for, if in Mahòn you must go, oh and incredibly great valueThanks a lot!!!

Rojo Pomodoro is the ideal place for an elegant and healty food in Es Castell. We offer to you excellent, crispy & light pizzas made with a special dough, italian tomato sauce and menorca's mozzarella cheese (Finca Son Tema), a fresh hand made pasta, lasa
We booked for 14 people to celebrate my fathers 80th birthday. The food is excellent and the staff were very accommodating certainly one of the best Italians we have eaten at over the many years visiting Menorca. Will be returning for another visit before we go home.

Typical restaurant in the ancient center of Mahon. Homemade mediterranean cuisine with Italian and local dishes. Internal patio and outdoor tables. In this period the restaurant is open from Monday to Thursday from 1 pm to 5 pm, Friday and Saturday from 1
Recommended to visit next time we were in Mahon, glad we took this advice. Fantastic small Italian restaurant. The best Pizza we have had outside of Italy and. Lasagne which was sublime. Great service, by friendly youngsters who couldnât do enough to explain the handwritten menu. Genuinely superb fresh Italian food. We ate there three times in a fortnight.Booking recommended.

Large restaurant but no one there 8pm in week so no atmosphere. Staff Italian & quite charming but a little vague.Did not have pizza which I suppose is their speciality. Carnes just ordinary. Reasonable prices.Went out for a treat but would have been better off staying in.

Stunning views across the small bay enhance the charm of this restaurant. The service was good and the pizza and pasta great too.

I live on menorca and have been to this restaurant loads of times but was surpised last night to see prices have risen and service was not as friendly as normal. We sat in the closed terrace which was fine but no candles on tables or any effort to make tables pretty . The prices for the calzone which i always eat has gone up and for basically a pizzeria i think it is now expensive really. Shame as its always been a fun place to go.Mentiras...

Having eaten here many times before we were looking forward to this visit..but things have changed new owners? Or management? Don't know for sure... but previously after ordering your meal a small complimentary hors d'oeuvres/appetiser will arrive with your drinks but not this time. When your pizza arrives gone are the delicious toppings under a sea of oil and the light crisp base is just a soggy dough it would not surprise me if the pepperoni pizza came from the local supermarket (although that might not have been so oily) seafood pizza did come will reasonable prawns/shellfish but again by the time your have way through the base is soaked from the oil and the water still contained in the shellfish.Although service was attentive there were 3 waiters and only 3 tables a total of ten people so can't comment on busier times..won't visit again

If it wasn't for TripAdvisor, we probably would have stuck with "proper" restaurants rather than buy a pizza here but we're glad we did. The service was friendly (excellent English spoken) and we only waited around 15 minutes for our freshly cooked pizza to eat back at our villa. They also sell gin slushies here (and at the ice cream kiosk next door) so we had those while we waited. We did worry that we'd been given a margarita pizza instead of a pepperoni by mistake but the pepperoni was chopped up in the sauce rather than in big slices and was delicious.Would thoroughly recommend a visit here.
