Things to do in Biasca
Honestly, the best pizza Iâve ever tasted in Ticino. The stuff is really super friendly. If you have the chance, ask to be seated outside under the pergola made of kiwi trees!

The service is very nice. Pizzas big and tasty. Beautiful mountain landscape. Possible to eat outside. Good with kids. They can play in the big outside green area.
Take away Da Leo is own by Leo. A young man who know how to make his pizza! His shop is located at the pizza centrale in biasca. The choice of pizzas is great and if you have a special request he does it with pleasure! The prices for the pizzas are also very fair! The taste is amazing! I traveled a lot over the world but his pizzas are still my favorites

On the 1. January we couldn't find an open restaurant in Lavorgo or Faido. But we were lucky when we found Grill Stazione in Biasca. We ordered each a salad as a starter and a pizza as a main dish. My boyfriend had a pizza "Vegeterian", I had the pizza "Grill" (with Parmesan, Parma ham and Rucola). Both pizzas had a lot on top. They were so large that they hung over the plate. We couldn't finish them and took the rest with us.The salad had a very tasty dressing. The waitress was quite grumpy, but we imagine that she maybe had a hard day. The restaurant was packed at 9.30 when we arrived. And she seemed overworked. So that probably was the reason for her mood.As we enjoyed the food, the quick serving, the possibility to eat late we will come again.

Hotel Restaurant Al Giardinetto Restaurant / Pizzeria and Hotel Al Giardinetto is located in the town of Biasca, more precisely at the intersection of the three Ambrosian valleys (Leventina, Blenio and Riviera). Thanks to our strategic position the hotel
We were on our way from Tuscany to Holland and as there was an announced two hour waiting time for the Gotthart tunnel, we decided to skip the typical petrol forecourt sandwich and to go of the highway for a proper lunch instead. We found Al Giardinetto quite quickly and as there were quite some people sitting on the terrace, it looked a safe choice. The service staff didn't look particularly cheerful or enthusiastic whilst taking our order or when serving. The food was of mediocre quality and the Gnocchi in tomato sauce of my son was actually quite bad bad (some potato balls were tasting rancid). The above combined with the (typical Swiss) high price of 95CHF for 4 simple pasta dishes and 4 softdrinks, makes that I'm not too enthusiastic about this place.

Our yearly visit in the Biasca area again finished with diner on the terrace. Friendly staff, menu variety ok. Pizza very mice. Unfortunately no pasta pesto, though last year it was possible as an exception. May be something to put on the menu....Several tables filled, both inside as well as on terrace. Looking up the mountain you see the Biasca chur with its way of the cross, which can also be recommended
