Our 2nd meal and just as enjoyable as last time. My husband had the chicken and asparagus linguine and seemed to be eating it forever and I had the pollo alla crema and funghi (chicken, cream and mushrooms) which was huge, beautifully presented and tasted delicious, a shame I couldn't finish it all, but having been on a diet recently my appetite has shrunk so I couldn't quite do it justice. I had no room for a pudding but I was able to squeeze in a few mouthfuls of my husband's tiramisu and it was lovely, one of the best ones I've had. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the restaurant has a nice relaxed vibe, getting us in the mood for our holiday in Italy in a couple of months. Looking forward to next visit.

Love this place there are no negatives friendly family run place, been comimg here for the past five nearly six years, this time i visited on the 23rd of august for my birthday as always the waitress goes the extra mile to make you feel happy in fact all the staff have smiles, they look geniuely happy to be there. This time the staff suprised me by turning the music off and bringing a cake and the whole restaurant proceeded to sing happy birthday it was such a lovely thing to do The food is amazing and always fresh and homemade. This place is a hidden gem and its been there twenty years which says a lot especially with all the chain pasta/pizza places these days. This is now my favourite restaurant and so cheap too

Great to be able to park on the front, but thatâs the only really positive about this place.Greatly over priced. Bruschetta starter was extremely basic. A couple of small slices of bread, toasted with a large amount of tomatoes poured over the top. Barely any olive oil, so really dry. No herbs or even a basil leaf to be seen to add any flavour. My husband had a vegetable risotto which was tasteless! It didnât seem that the rice had been cooked in anything other than water! Again no herbs, just a bit of green veg. He had to add a ton of salt and pepper to get it to taste like anything. My half moon pizza was dry. No substantial sauce, just dried out chicken, over cooked mushrooms and a dried out base with a few olives. The sale that came with it had more brown lettuce leaves than green, again with out any dressing. As for asking £3 for a mini pudding, which truly was mini....served in nothing much bigger than a shot glass. Husband did commend the coffee.A truly tasteless and pricey meal. Weâd paid less to feed four people with a really tasty, substantial meal elsewhere the day before. There were only two members of staff working who were really pleasant, but too busy to keep their eye on everyone and so we waited ages just to get a dessert menu.Wonât be returning!

New authentic Italian restaurant in Bexleyheath. For us cooking and shering food is no less than a way of life. Wherever its eaten, it's always based around fresh seasonal produce
There are three Italian restaurants in Bexleyheath and already Il Vesuvio has blown away the Glasshouse. Wide ranging menu, focusing on Italian food and a much smaller English menu. Nice to eat in a restaurant where there are other diners too!

Fantastic food and very welcoming as always. The pasta and pizza at Marios is superb, all home made and an ever changing specials menu.Iâd suggest asking Mario to give you a pasta tasting menu so you get to try a bit of everything! (You need to ask).See you soon and thanks for being so hospitable as always.John, Ursula and family x
